Jay Z fast flow was too gimmicky. Jaz o was better with it anyway
he can spit double-time way better than biggie as well.

Maybe but to be honest I don't really care. Eminem can fast flow better than all of them that don't make him a better emcee. The fast flow thing is a non argument to me. Biggie got a way smoother delivery
Reasonable Doubt and Blueprint are on Par with LAD and RTD as far as I’m concerned. Jay’s body of work and longevity and having more albums of quality like Black Album and American Gangster , give him the nod to me. He went to to toe on both their actual collabs. You can argue Jay wouldn’t be where he is had Big not get murked but to say he’s not better at least as an argument is flawed.
I wouldn’t argue if someone said Biggie was better but I prefer Jays wordplay and countless classic songs as well as Worldwide hits that unfortunately Biggie didn’t get a chance to do.
To be honest, Anyone who claims Pac and Big are GOAT I don’t have a Problem …but to dismiss rappers who were able to live longer and produce more quality music then them and showed they can stay relevant for 3 decades (Jay and Nas) are lovestruck with Nostalgia and more than likely a Casual fan.

only thing big has is his storytelling and voice.
Big was mostly just a bragodocious rapper like Jay. But Jay did this shyt better than him

The only aspect of music/art big did better than Jay was storytelling and having more vivid rhymes. other than that there really is no aspect of Big that Jay doesn't/didn't do or he does better than Jay

FR, Jay being over Biggie is a much easier and open shut case than Jay vs nas
and im not talking on some "lyrical" shyt as both are better than Biggie tho(they are) but as overall rap artist. You can argue Jay is better than Nas as a pure rapper.
but Nas can off set Jay with his storytelling, creative artistry, concepts, Narrative densed lyricism etc. so that argument can go on for days. Nas as a great lyricist and creative artist vs Jay as a great pure lyricist(Kinda like a Steph curry vs Chris paul; Combo PG vs Pure Point guard argument)
But Big is not that creative as a artist(and im talking concepts, song structures, narratives, subjects matter, etc) to justify himself on that end like Nas can, and Jay is the better rapper skillwise. Mostly all Big was, was a braggadocio rapper, and Jay did that same style for his career and did it better than BIG.
so I dont see how Big is better than Jay
Storytelling and voice is all he has. and thats not enough in my book.

Back in 96/97 jay was just biggies lil nikka small fry’s in the industry….. biggie had he been alive present times would always be bigger then jay …. 1 thing I can say about jay unlike so many other artists is he’s lasted the test ov time I name on my hand the amount of rappers who have lasted the test of time ….

I think Jay has a better ear for musicality. Even though he never was a melodic rapper, he had a good ear for what he would sound good on. Not every time, but most times. The better artist overall was Biggie but unfortunately his life was cut short so there really isn't much realistic comparisons at this point.
