are you using the Steam beta client @Ciggavelli ?
Nah. I don't know what's wrong. I'm gonna take a nap and then try this again. This setup is a bytchare you using the Steam beta client @Ciggavelli ?
I would try the beta, since it gets the latest updates. also maybe try different USB ports. they can be picky sometimes. I have an external HDD that just won't work with my front USB portsNah. I don't know what's wrong. I'm gonna take a nap and then try this again. This setup is a bytch![]()
Yeah, I might try that. Thanks. I heard setting this up was a bytch. I just didn't know it'd be this bad.I would try the beta, since it gets the latest updates. also maybe try different USB ports. they can be picky sometimes. I have an external HDD that just won't work with my front USB ports
did you try out the stuff in "The Lab"?I gotta say, I'm disappointed. The Vive is finicky as hell, one of my controllers is fukked up (gotta call them tomorrow and get a replacement....ugh), the resolution is shyt, the games aren't there yet, and moving without actually walking is pretty disorienting.
It looks like the Rift has the games, so I hope it lives up to it's promises.
The Vive is cool and all, but I'm not impressed by the games so far. There's no killer app. If you're on the fence about buying the Vive, I say wait. There is nothing worth playing right now (and I have 45 VR games).
@Morethan1 You're not missing out yet breh. shyt is cool to have, but it's a novelty item right now. Hopefully a killer app will come out soon, but right now, it ain't there yet. The Rift has the games, and once it comes, I'll do a full comparison. But I gotta say, I'm not very impressed by the Vive right now. It's a $900 novelty toy at the moment. I expect it to get better, but right now, it's not worth it.
I had such high hopes for VR too![]()

That's rift only. All the "real" games are Rift exclusives now. The Vive ones aren't out yetwhat about Eve Valkyrie? or is that rift only?
I'll try that one out later tonight.
