So basically this is a Kinect like experience but it's goggles instead of a camera over a TV. No thanks.

I'm not sold on VR anyway. I think it's the video game equivalent of 3Dtvs. There are uses for VR but not likely as a mass market product for gaming.
You see me on these forums. I buy everything new in this space. Hell I got a second Xbox One still sitting in the box that I've never played and this VR isn't even a blip on my radar. For someone that blows a lot of money on bullshyt to not even really be paying attention to this is telling.
@Ciggavelli you check out "Chunks"?

shyt looks like VR Minecraft, plus you can build, and ride, roller coasters. it's made by Facepunch (Garry's Mod, Rust) so there's definitely some potential. the best part will probably be the Workshop support, and all the crazy shyt the community will build
The B in his name stands fordude in the video seemed impressed
never mind...
Does the Vive not support control pads?All Oculus games now work on ViveBut I can't get people to leave me alone, I've done about 20 hours of demoing for friends and family since Friday. This shyt is a hit.
Depends on the game but you can just plug in your xbox controller and play oculus games with today's patch and also some Oculus games work with the Vive touch controllers.Does the Vive not support control pads?
it does, but they're mostly pushing room-scale with their dual controllers, since that doesn't make people sickDoes the Vive not support control pads?
