When has Shelton and Lashley ever been political?
The thing is

If they were still in wwe and wwe told them they’re losing to the American el grandes, mvp might try to sway opinions but they’re going to lose no matter what

I brought up TK still has no balls for a reason

How does this debunk them not wanting to put anyone over besides Will Ospreay and swerve

Why would they make a video together on social media if they hate each other? Dirt sheets just make shyt up by extrapolating. That's the point.

The Hurt Syndicate probably do want to put over a younger tag-team. I don't think Tony wanted to put the titles on a younger team right now given how the storylines are playing out. I think MJF will cost them the titles against FTR, which will then lead to them costing MJF his title shot against Hangman. That ultimately leads into Lashley vs. MJF, possibly at Full Gear. FTR is going to eventually face off against Edge & Christian, and I bet Edge & Christian get a tag title run by the end of the year.

Hate each other might be a strong word but not getting along is totally possible. And it’s just a 15 second clip lol wrestlers who dislike like each other wrestle each other, and are in videos together all the time.

And why would the dirtsheets make up lies involving Mike Bailey? I don’t even know who that is besides this current discussion.

Alverez said mvp has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way….. in a company that has a history of people being rubbed the wrong way for the littlest things

I can see mvp going in business for the hurt syndicate and like everyone else has said I don’t blame them

I’m just pointing out that this is another story, true or not, where TK is painted in the light of not pulling the hammer down.

Losing the titles to ftr makes sense tho

Even if this was true none of them would be wrong. Shelton was an average size dude in WWE and he looks like Brock Lesnar next to those guys
Shelton was only looked at as averaged sized because WWE has a lot of super heavyweight sized guys. Seeing him in AEW next to alot of truly average/smaller guys is what made people realize how big he actually is.
I agree .it just don't make any sense for Lashley to lose. Shelton is even a better wrestler than him and can muscle cars around too so him losing looks shaky. Look at him compared to MJF and Hangman.
Eh, Adam Page isn't really a small guy. I get your point though.

As for Shelton losing, it depends on who he loses to. If he loses to Sammy Guevara/Jack Perry sized guys, I get it. But that hasn't been the case. So far he's taken L's to...

- Swerve (top guy, he's not small either)
- Okada (top guy, bigger than Shelton)
- Fletcher (young guy AEW is pushing, also bigger than Shelton)

From the video MVP put up, it's clear he doesn't have any real dislike for Mike Bailey. This whole "MVP doesn't like Speedball" narrative that the dirt sheets are running with stems from MVP's thought process that The Hurt Syndicate should not lose to him, because he doesn’t see enough value (or potential value) in him for it to pay off.

Which is fine. You could argue it's 100% correct. But as MVP always says: it's not personal, it's just business.

He doesn't need to do some fake alpha male bullshyt when he can bench them for not playing ball then let them leave cold as fukk ie Miro and Malachi.

Are wrestlers able to say no because they're independent contractors? Why doesn't tony just send them home if they don't want to play ball? Can you extend their contract or dock pay?

Plenty of reasons

He’s a Mark
Not a Real Boss
A p*ssy
Doesn’t know how to run a Wrestling Business
A Pushover
Spineless
Nobody is afraid of him

People can walk all over him because they’re fulfilling his dream of owning a wrestling company

At some point it stops being a Hurt Business issue and becomes a Tony/management issue.

His dream isn't to own a wrestling company it's to own a five star chasing Flippy wrestling company which I'd argue contributes to the big guys floundering. At times it seems he wants them on the roster for his favorite guys to lose to.
