those of us that need to be right or even just fair, thinking she will happily compromise because thats the logical thing to do, usually end up getting divorced.

When it comes to household chores, there's a split in my household as to who does what.

I handle everything outside (lawn, roofing, snow removal, etc). One because I geniunely like doing that stuff, 2 because I ain't having my wife climbing up ladders to clean the leaves out the gutters, etc.

I handle the budgeting. I'm meticulous regarding our budget management. Not that my wife can't do it, but I rather take the lead.

My wife does more of the traditional stuff. Take care of the baby, clean the bathrooms. We share other cleaning, cooking.

We're not yelling at each other if one of us slips up and doesn't handle our shyt. What couple does that?

No restrictions on our separate social circles. She or i want to go out, fine. As long we plan a bit in advance so one of us has the kids.

This sounds exactly like my relationship minus any children. Respect sir.

Ok,let me pose it to you like this. Let's say a woman was doing all these things.

Instead of finishing up the laundry or cleaning the bathroom she's out a brunch with her girls
Instead of allocating money towards braces for the kid, she's spending the money on shoes
Instead of spending time with you and your family she's out with her girls until midnight
Instead of listening to his better budgetary suggestions you go out on your own spending freely.
