While I got along with most kids my age, I definitely got ribbed on stuff like that. As I got older I noticed that those social divides start to lessen up and you see more overlap.
- Having super nerdy interests (games, comics, etc.)
- Not speaking using slang (my parents didn't play that)
- Listening to different types of music (again my parents weren't fans of hip-hop)
- Wasn't really into any sports at the time

I said you get clowned for being smart. I was still banging ni66@z little sisters... The hate didn’t work. I had no serious issues as I hinted to earlier cause I’m too self assured. And just to be clear I was in gen pop majority of my career just not during my time in magnet. Specials were still with regular school kids. I had to go to lunch and do recess, play pick em mess em up all that. I’m only using gen pop in hindsight cause it just occurred to me. I wouldn’t have even had that conception as a kid.

I went to school with the 'best' rich preppy white folks and I'd prefer my kids around honest people. The effects of placing young black kids in the dog-eat-dog, Cruel Intentions world of the most exclusive independent schools has not been widely studied (that I know of), but, as one who survived mentally intact, it wasn't easy. Those who are still normal have been cynical, distrustful of wp, and somewhat woke from the beginning. The lost ones sound like you.

I don't think he meant it as if they were like felons but when you go to a school like that and get sectioned off from other kids, it can make people feel some type of way.
If you're "too smart" for regular classes the teachers want you to stfu and make sure you don't alienate the other kids in the classrooms..which were big af back then, like 20-30 kids. Once they get sick of you, you get the 'privilege' of going to smaller classrooms with with harder work, more expectations and if you're broke and from the hood, you're now getting looked down on by a different set of kids. You leave there, or go to lunch with the "normal" kids and they know you go to GT classes, they think nikkas is in there, they mad because they think you're getting candy and winning ribbons or some shyt

I'm trying to put my future seeds on the path to victory by whatever means necessary. We are a conquered people. I'm trying to raise conquerors so putting them in a cruel intentions environment is a good training ground. To overcome they gonna have to do some cruel intentions and gully shyt. It teaches the lesson that power is everything and if you don't have it your just food out here.

Kids had backwards priorities. They knew all the song lyrics, but not the algebra formulas in middle school and I wasn’t about that. I stopped listening to all music cause I thought it was a distraction until I switched school type for essentially high school and realized even smart kids listened to music and still knew they school work.
You needed Tommy, polo, fubu, nautica. My folks had me at 40 so they said you only need clean clothes without holes in them and other families can’t pay bills. Plus grown men take kids clothes so you don’t need any Jordan’s in the streets.
I never let anyone openly cheat cause I worked hard in middle school. I thought academics was suppose to be competitive so...
