that's not what hes asking.
hes asking if the media would force him onto the same pedestal if he passed.
No. Idiotic question

Ye Nas dying would totally be a bigger deal then Eminem dyingMan shut up
Is it Quicksilver ....or OldGold?
Prince released 7 albums in the 80s and was still critically acclaimed by the end of the decade and respected.
Eminem was falling from grace by his 4th album. Sales are important but it isnt the be all end all. If your releasing bullshyt why should that be seen as an advantage?
Look at someone like Nas...look how over the years he has gotten respect from having scholarships named after him, getting interviews in respected universities, getting medals, etc.
Back in the day Eminem was bigger than him but thats why i said he is QuickSilver. Even Eminem's own people have been bored with him. I dont think alot of you realize just how bad his music ages.
Eminem has or will never get the respect his career deserves:
Overrated by Pop fans/general populations/white people
Underrated by heads/Coli members/black people.
No. Idiotic question
people on the coli white or black are pretty out of touch with just how big eminem impact and legacy is worldwide....it would be bigger than if prince died and I own 5 prince albums and 1 em album and dont think hes top 5 all time
This is seriously one of the worst threads of all time... This moron asked if Em was as big or impactful as Muthafukkin Prince

Depends what generation you ask. To 90s kids Em is more impactful.
mj and price seemed to transcend that color barrier. even though he does rap, as a whole im not sure he really means much to black people.
nobody underrates Eminem.
just because you don't rate Eminem highly, it doesn't mean that you underrate him.
I feel like I overrate him actually. I have him in the top 50, even tho he doesn't have any albums worth writing home about.
