Okay and .. eminem is more popular overall yes ?

He's White in a majority White country where Whites love Black music bcuz its GOAT but don't like admitting it 4 obvious reasons so they settle 4 an admittedly talented but inferior product if it looks like them.

Don't know a single White person that don't put Em in they top 10.......even Whites from the hood.........Think about that for a second brotha.

Don't let slights of hand and industry poliTRICKS fool u.

Em got that die hard fan base. They swear everything he does is great. He hasn't realeased a good album since the eminem show.

Recovery was dope. What thehell is all this "He hasn't released anything good after Eminem Show" nonsense...Recovery was one of the best hip hop albums of 2010. :what: That was Ems comeback album.

If we're being honets most of the names people have mentioned as their top 5 had their peaks die out over a decade ago or more as well.

But he only keeps selling and staying afloat cuz Interscope and cuz hes the same complexion as the majority of the music consumer base

Isnt that what legacy is?

Is there an argument that any of the greats could exist in any era and still be top tier of that time?

Of course...Look at Muhammad Ali.

But on the internet its cool to hate in this current era of Hip Hop so.....the naysayers are more focused on stressing the fall off then the highlights.....Its all in this thread with Em....They also do that to Jay and Nas and Rakim and KRS and LL....But thats where the hate gets exposed because look at Drake,,,he's still in his prime and he gets hate nonstop even when putting out good product......Thats why the naysayers in thsi thread arent really saying anything because in Hip Hop its just trendy to hate online, period.........and its also trendy to hate on those who fell off but had a grand prime.

Again..its a hip hop thing because they dont do that with Muhammad Ali or other Sports legends. They dont do it with actors either. And I say its a Hip Hop thing because look at Pink Floyd....Their music was not what it once was once the 80's hit....But go read those youtube comments...Go read the blogs about Pink Floyd....You would think Pink Floyd never went left.....Hating on the greats is a Hip Hop thing, bottom line.

I would have to listen to it again, but usually he will have 2 of 3 good songs and the rest of album will suck.
