If OKC wins the title, is it the hardest path to a 'ship in NBA History?

:snoop: You people suck as basketball fans. It's like you all don't watch games and just comment based on stats. You cannot judge/rate teams based on regular season records in a garbage ass league. The Spurs may have won 67 games in the regular season but the reality of it is that they're an old ass team in the middle of transitioning from tr Duncan/Parker-Ginonli era to the Kawhi-LA era. Kawhi and LA are the only two all stars on the team at this point. Duncan and Ginobli are done and Parker is running on fumes. The Thunder were supposed to win that series. GS is overrated and so are the Cavs. The competition just isn't good enough for this to qualify as the hardest path ever. The only way that you can even make that argument is ignore the play on the floor and just judging teams by regular season records.

absolutely, lmao at anyone considering other team runs as the harder ones.

If they make it to the finals.....We are talking about beating a 65+ team coached by arguably the greatest coach of all time, and then beating a greatest regular season team of all time, this is a no brainer...all of this done with a rookie nba coach who had huge 4th quarter problems in the regular season.

The 95 Rockets shouldn't even BE in the playoffs let alone make it pass the 1st rnd. At least OKC had a series with Dallas where they were EXPECTED to WIN with home court. The Rockets had NONE.

The Rockets had to face a Suns team while Barkley was still in their prime, a Jazz team with both Stockton and Malone in their primes, a Spurs Squad that was just as good as the current Spurs and win the finals against the Magic who were GS 3pt shooters with Penny and Shaq as an unstoppable force.

This with today's Charlotte Hornet's having a better record than the then 95 Rockets.

You can say the Thunder have the talent before the playoffs to beat anyone. You could not possibly say the same with the ROCKETS. Not with an aging Drexler and Hakeem carrying the team.

You re overrating regular season records, fakkit. The 2016 Spurs and GSW would get washed against any 90s champ.

I'd also go w 95 clutch city. The Mailman, Sir Charles, Admiral, Penny and the Diesel. Not bad.

89 Pistons get props too.

2015 Warriors had hands down the hardest path to a championship

First Round - Bottom feeder Pelicans team with a 19 year old Anthony Davis going 1 on 5
Second Round - Injury riddled Grizzlies team who are offensively challenged
Conf Finals - Houston Rockets team, who's main offense is Iso Harden and offensive midget Dwight Howard
Finals - Cavs team with Kryie Irving and Kevin Love injured and out of the series, with Lebron going 1 on 5

Surprised the Warriors survived that :mjcry:

they didn't even have to go through Jordan's Bulls, so to say they had the hardest road to the championship (and they 4-0'd the Magic) is utterly ridiculous. Rockettes fans are so dillusional about those teams...
Comparatively speaking, it was the hardest road. The 95 Utah, PHX, Spurs and Magic would all win titles in this century.

Utah 60-22
Phoenix 59-23
SA 62-20 with the league MVP
Orlando 57-25 eliminated Jordan's Bulls in 6 games

You telling me this is utterly ridiculous? Look at those records. Rockets down 2-1 to Utah in a best of 5 won 3-2. Down 3-1 to Phoenix won 4-3. Then Hakeem personally destroyed the MVP David Robinson and the best up and coming player at his position and in the league in Shaq who was a part of a team being dubbed the next great dynasty in the NBA.

Nobody taking that run away from the Rockets. You can disagree this isn't the hardest but it's put up time who went through more on they way to a title? I'm waiting.

If healthy, they wouldve been gotten back to the finals. They havent really been a healthy squad this late into the season since thwir last finals appearance when you really think about except the year they lost to the spurs in the wcf.
I don't understand what the fukk you're saying in this post.
