Let alone for reps...![]()
One thing you have to consider is the weight of the lifter, main reason I posted that chart. Two dudes walk into the gym, one 250lbs and the other 190, they both put up 325 for reps, who is more impressive?
Honestly, its never why i got too hyped about nothing.
My brother like 6'3 repping 360... Easily. I done seen that all my life
Im cool with repping 225. That extra shyt not for me. Plus i know how to shift my weight in a punch. So i feel like I always got a punchers chance
I went from putting up 225 about 3-4 sets of 6-8 to putting up 315 3 times in about 3 months before I messed up my rotator cuff, it's all about consistency, this was last summer though I can barely get 275 once now225 is a warm up set son
But on the real, if you haven't worked out in a while 135 might seem like a zillion pounds so I can dig it. It took me at least 6 months of constantly in the gym working on my craft to get my number up. Keep challenging yourself.
I had to stop doing declines. I was using so much weight I tore some shyt and was out for a few months. For some reason you can move more weight on decline, but its probably unnecessary to do that shyt in the long term.Flat bench presses? Or decline? That decline shyt is easy
Depends on how you train. I can do much heavier than 225, but rarely do. I like doing lots of sets rather than 3-4 heavy ones. I'd rather be lean and strong than huge like Ronnie Coleman or some shyt.225 is a warm up set son![]()
I know that breh ...Just make sure your punch comes from the pivot foot..knee...torso.. shoulder...forearm...and u can knock a nikka out easily. The added power from weights would definitely help tho.
