Well, I don't believe in a god I have to worship, tho I do believe there are higher beings whose roles aren't defined by religion.

I honestly hate people on average, well, mostly adults bc ALOT just want egos stroked and validation in social settings. But I do like helping people, its fulfilling for me so my focus in life is to engage in things that only help me grow personally. Otherwise, this ignant planet can go str8 to hell, figuratively speaking.

Helping people > hurting people

when most things we believe are "right" are because of said books.. even the egyptians, ancient civilizations, etc, prayed and worshipped SOMETHING

and because of that worship, they chose to not do things... kill, steal, marry, etc


but don't get it twisted.. NONE of that is human or animal nature... that's something we built in ourselves over time

so whether you believe god or not.. a god.. many gods.. energy.. lifeforce... or nothing

you still following the don't kill, don't steal, don't lie, don't cheat, etc philosophies

And those books got them from human evolution, observations and experiences...

That's only cause those people make it known why they are doing what their doing, kind of like a robber going rob a bank hes in the action of doing that you know how many people were close to doing that but didn't? They are far more good Christians in this world, that society would rather you believe the ladder. I never understood people relating cults to Christians. Christians go through life knowing they will always fall short of God's glory but still live like he instructed us to he gave us commandments to follow to help us while were here one is simple
"Thou shalt not kill" So if I kill I'm damn sure not following God's word so don't associate those people with Christians.

A few peoples ago I seen some people talking about "Good" the only person who is good is "God" himself., so from the bible if God is good why would God want his children to kill when he commanded us not to? Those people leading others to sin kill,rape in God's name isn't Christians.

He said to not kill yet Did god not order people to be killed in the bible? Or are you going to ignore the contradiction and say that its ok because god said so?

Bible tells you how you can beat your slave.
Bible tell you who must be killed for doing activities on a certain day.
Bible says you can rape a woman but then you have to marry her.
Bible has the lord ordering a town of animals, pregnant women and babies to be killed.
Bible mentions a man's daughters pretty much date raping him.


Sure sounds like a book people should base morals off of.

I think more people died under Stalin's leadership than any of the combined deaths due to religious purposes. We have no way of knowing exactly. Either way it wouldn't matter because in the end, religion doesn't kill, the people that practice it wrong do.

For one, stalin didn't have people killed in the name of atheism. People actually had wars in the name of their religion. Aint no war in the name of atheism.

Two, duhh religion doesn't kill because its not a being. The people who follow the religion kills though

Great answers but how did you come to that understanding? All those acts you listed came from the bible and someone passed those ideals down to you. You may not believe in God but you believe in his teachings. Other wise rape,killing ect would mean nothing to us.

To separate those worthy of having a after life of happiness. Nothing wrong with questioning things were human nobody knows all but God. but this stuck with me when I asked close to your question when I was younger I was told "You have nothing to lose by following Gods word if at the end it was a lie what did you lose? But when that time comes and you find out He is real, was it worth burning in hell forever? That always stuck with me being a Christian is a good feeling to me I don't lose any happiness by following the word.

And to be totally honest with you, at times I honestly hope that there isn't an afterlife since Heaven don't really sound like anything I'd really want to be a part of. Like, what the fukk is I going to do and will Jesus allow me to sleep and cuddle chicks in heaven? I can give up smoking/drinking/sex but will I honestly be allowed to play with a chick's feet in heaven on some innocent affectionate shyt, sweet baby jesus?
