I'd rather go 6 straight times and win once myself. But I think some of you are writing off this question too easily. You go 6 times and win once, your legacy is always being questioned. But if you go 1-1, then atleast you're somewhat respected as a great player ala Dirk Nowitzki. I know he's actually 1-2 in the finals but my point still stands. We always tend to forget about that loss in 06. But look at how we pile on LBJ and question his legacy amongst the GOAT because of that dismal finals record.
But there isn't a person alive who thinks Dirk is ranked higher than Lebron. Your legacy shouldn't be questioned anymore than any other of the other 29 teams who didn't win.
Losing in the first shouldn't be better for your legacy than losing in the finals. Like people are actually arguing that Lebron made a mistake dragging his Cavs to the finals to lose against Spurs should count worse on him than losing to the Wizards or Pistons. That's stupid as fukk to me.
