Who is there to fill out the roster with that will take a min contract?Because that team also has two top 5 players and there are still good enough role players on the board to fill out the roster properly.
Let me ask, had the Lakers been out there yesterday signing role players to stupid deals what would be the reaction then? “Ohhh, Kawhi don’t even want to play with them, Lakers overpaying for bums, hate hate hate.” Just know that is Laker fans really do appreciate it. It’s been so long since we’ve been hated on because of fear...feels like home....

On talent alone they’ll win games but I don’t see it working well as people think it will. They literally all play in the same spots on the floor (elbows, mid post, occasional 3-pointers). None of them can catch and shoot, and they have no real guards (as of now).
Anthony Davis will be content shooting jump shots all year (like Bosh) but what’s the point of getting Kawhi if you won’t let him dominate the offense? He ain’t trying to be Pippen (and he ain’t locking up like that anymore), but Lebron is going to try and make him that because he won’t play without the ball.
It’s probably the most talented big 3 on paper of all time, but I don’t see the fit on the floor my brother

Think about when he first demanded a trade to the Lakers and plus he never wanted to be in Toronto....
I personally would like to see him stay in TO just so he can defend the championship but he has a right to do what he wants

Why would he Wait to sign in LA when all the role players are getting snatched up?
The longer he waits the worse the Lakers chance of filling out the roster gets.
None of this feels like he's going to the Lakers to me

AD and Kawhi both have injury histories. Lebron has more mintues played than any active NBA player and had his first major injury last year. One of them will get injured next year and they will have terrible depth. If they are all healthy for an extended playoff run than sure. But isnt likely.
