These are heavily factored on hit records not every song you play has to be a smash but they sway the course of the versuz

Nas would lose in this setting he hasn’t had a hit since 02, Jay still has stuff he can play up to BP3

Yes you goofy bastids the last Primo joint on a Nas album ever is >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> "Good dude, I know you love me like cooked food"

fukk outta here with that soft ass bullshyt you camel jockeys :russ::camby:

And NY State of Mind is beating ANY Jay song, especially the one woke Jay himself disowned.

most likely on the coli...

in real life where mainstream matters with all the casual rap fans watching? fukk no.

just watch any of the verses battles, major hits carry a huge portion of the matchups. jay is dusting anybody not named pac or snoop.

A lot of Hov's commercial songs have aged poorly.

What's he gonna play On To The Next One? Bonnie and Clyde, Empire State of Mind? lol

Nas has good songs Jay Z has hits. The average person watching these Versuz couldn’t name you more than 10 Nas songs. Ask them to name 10 Jay songs and watch how easily they start naming songs. Only on the Coli...

jay always caught alot of criticism.

not as much as nas tho, but thats because nas liked to project himself as the opposite.

even before jay became more commercial-friendly, he already made it clear as to what he was about.

Nas would win 12-8 or 13-7

Hov has too much pop commercial hits that have aged poorly like most of the commercial songs that came out in the 2000s era.

:camby:

Nas is my favorite rapper, but this whole "x aged poorly" narrative pushed on this site needs to go. Just because you don't like the songs anymore doesn't mean they aged poorly. A lot of those "Pop commercial hits" are classic songs that even many of us as Nas fans can't deny.

I’m not a fan of some of Hov’s most commercial songs but you’re lying if you think some of those wouldn’t go off in a versuz setting, Empire State of mind is his biggest cross over hit as played out as it is. It would get a good reaction.

Man, woman, and child
thats not what RZA vs Preemo was about
It was to an extent. Which is why people were scratching their heads when Premo played MOP or some of the lesser known Gangstarr tracks. Meanwhile RZA played all the known Wu bangers and the coli had RZA winning as a result. It’s not like RZA was playing Tearz, Impossible, Black Jesus or the original version of All I Need. He pulled out the version with Mary on it for a reason
:heh:
