More impactful? he was a game breaker no doubt but TO could take those 5 yard slants and hit you for 80 yard strikes. He could also beat you across the middle, deep, and was a solid blocker. TO made Jeff Garcia an all pro/ pro bowl QB.

I'll give you his drops, but that isn't as bad as moss taking plays/ games off and not playing to his potential on every snap/

Defenses had to do a lot more to gameplan for Moss's ability to go deep than what they did for TO. TO was still very good, but Moss affected defenses in a different level IMO.

Like i said they both had their short comings and yet their numbers are nearly identical. That speaks well for both players. For me personally i'll take TO on my squad, i can live with the jobs but i can't live with not giving your all on the field.

As far as QB's go. Owens had young for 2 years in 97 when rice got hurt and he became the starter opposite jj stokes and 98 when he started full time. After that young was hurt against the cards and he had jeff, then mcnabb in 04 who had his career best year with TO like brady did in 07 with Moss. Like i said it's close forreal but for me i'll take Owens

The not giving his all piece was overblown. That was only really an issue when his teams sucked and mostly in Oakland. The "play when I wanna play" stuff was mostly media hype. If we are gonna go there we can't ignore TO's bytchmade behavior.

I'll give you moss being the driving force of the 2 greatest offense, however Owens NEVER played in a air it out system like minny in 98 or the pats in 07. In frisco and philly they played a ball control west coast offense with short/underneath throws designed to keep the chains alive and the opposing defenses on the field. It was only quick strike when TO would go 80 yards on a 15 yard in cut. Those teams weren't throwing it 40-50 times like minny and new england were, but i'll give you that anyway

The Vikings most certainly weren't air it out. Cunningham attempted 30 passes a game back in 98. Those Vikings were actually pretty balanced and had a pretty strong run game. Pats have tried to be an air it out offense numerous times and it's never come close to what they did with Moss. Let's not act like Philly and Dallas were shy about throwing the ball when TO was there or as if SF never sent dude deep.

Where's the production is all i`m going to ask. Too many dogged plays,seasons,games and to be GOAT you have to show that dedication to the game throughout your career.

There were times Randy just didn't give a fukk.

Also, his time in SF when playing for a SB team is very forgettable, Randy was marginal at that age and Jerry was still a top performer.

That's bottom line, talk about measurements and highlight plays all day, production just isn't at the goat level

If you didn't get to see Rice play, then I guess it's understandable. I, however, got to see Rice play, and there's really no question that he's the GOAT.

In Oakland Randy was stuck with a bum ass team and qb who couldn't hit Randy when he got wide fukkin open, and that happened often. Randy was 30 years old and when he finally goes to a good team with a HOF qb, and he did mind boggling damage.

When you talk about a weapon, and the biggest deep threat of all time, you're talking Randy Moss.

The biggest thing I respect about Jerry however, is his longevity and work ethic. The fact he was still playing well into his late 30's and could still play in his 40's was amazing. However he wasn't the supreme athlete Randy was.
