People tend to not favor critical thinking/thought because it requires understanding as well as effort, and it reveals truth that makes people uncomfortable. You'd be pissed if you're 37 married with kid, and realize
for the first time your wife doesn't love you solely/per se but more the situation you can provide for her. You'd get even angrier if you realize she might possibly leave you if someone with high playing rank came along and gave the opportunity. That can literally
break some people.
Hell a lotta guys won't admit they're not the most attractive guy their woman's been with/the best sex she's had. There's a reason why we have religion, and other institutions it makes people make sense of the world, because without most would revert to full blown savagery.
We're as a species reaching intellectual/emotional awareness that is rivaling, and for some men often red pillers overcoming biological imperative. I realized this when I had my first baddie, and I was beating and I had a brief moment where I was thinking "Imma flood her guts", then I was like wait that's a horrible risk/life choice. Moreover, I don't like her as a person so why would I think-, it was at that moment I realized just how powerful biology can be on some people (I consider myself a thinker, probably say aloud to people less than 15% of my thoughts). The bulk of people go through life with feeling/sensation/emotion first, and logic second. So naturally redpill, or any larger conceptual understanding will seem foreign and an affront on their way of life especially since what feels good and what is good often are at conflict. The bulk of people are largely unable to navigate cognitive dissonance.
It's why dudes who know they don't want to be a father regularly go raw, and women let do so knowing they've shown nothing prior indicating responsibility. It feels good and is in my best interest hence I'm going to do it, it works out usually so.... The foresight, understanding and awareness to be think better of the situation is simply too much for a lot of people. Similar thought process makes Muricans call anyone who questions any aspect of capitalism a socialist/communist you're attacking what they perceive through feeling to be in their best interest. People don't like consider the possibility the beliefs, ideologies, or people they've predicated their lives on could be flawed or outright wrong, and the powers that be just manipulate that complacency (ie. "they're trying to change your way of life, but I won't let it happen").
