Since the 60s, weve been told that fat is bad for u and u need to eat low fat and more carbs. 40 years later, our country is one of the top countries with obesity and diebetes.
fukk outta here with bro science. My fatber in law been doing keto for 2 years now and hasnt needed to touch any insulin med and lowered all his levels to bascially being diebetic free when he was on the verge of losing his toes.

What you just said is broscience. The data doesn’t support your claims. Americans never ate low fat diets. We never increased the carbs we ate. Just the amount of calories and junk food consumed.

Bro science is what individuals think based off their experiencd with no actual scientific evidence. Keto has been proven scientifically for fat loss and healthier then using sugar for fuel. I consumed 2100 calories on a cut for years with 40/40/20 (carbs, protein, fats)and was barely seeing any results while feeling slugish. I been doing 2100 calories on keto with great results so far and energy up the ass.

Broscience was a bit harsh, my bad. I meant it as people trying to pass it off as some miracle diet that guarantees dramatic weight loss with no side effects just because they don't eat carbs.
I been down the low carb and keto route. For my lifestyle its not for me. Even when I was "keto adapted" I felt like shyt.
I don't agree with keto being "healthier" than using glucose as fuel (no one burns glucose all day anyway.) Your body still has to oxidize fats. I just think full-blown keto is overkill for most people. Most people are better off stop eating shytty carbs/junk and eating real food.

I don’t disagree but in 17 days that was likely a lot of water weight.While true, u gotta look at it from outside looking in. For decades we were told fat is bad for u and became an obese nation. Fat isnt bad for u at all. Its better for u then carbs especially if u getting older and hormones/energy level decline. But like i said, i stopped the keto diet because in the long run, its something i cant see me doing long term. Did 17 days and dropped
10 pounds and lost belly fat which was my main goal.

Either way it works for some and not others. My only caution is people (Not saying you) throwing it out as a miracle solution to people without knowing how they train.
If you're around 200 now and usually 175 max that's actually not that bad. So a good 20-30 lb loss is all you need, you're not too far versues where I started. And yet for a lot of men that fat hits your gut and lower breast plate.Someone help me out with this. The last. 7-8 months were real bad for me with the wife being pregnant and i put on to much weight.
I’m usually a gym rat and workout a lot. But last few months it’s gettjng harder and harder to lose weight. I’m usually around 170-175 (Im 5’8) but now I’m hovering around 201, Im not fat by any means you can still see muscles but my gut is crazy right now.
So who can break down a schedule for me? I work regular 730-430, I can usually get in a workout session during my work day for an hr but i can easily get one in after work. So just let me know what time I should eat, what I should eat, etc.
