Shanahan and Purdy for large stretches of the game were the only glaring flaws (dunno wtf Shanahan was doing for most of the night). But in reality, I think its been exposed that the talent gap between SF and GB really isn't that big anymore, and without Deebo, there really isn't a gap at all.

Without Samuel’s Purdy is mediocre at best. Nevertheless this is gonna haunt love for a minute. Brutal loss.

People so badly trynna blame or point fingers at Purdy still.

But it’s still insane no one wants to talk about the defense. Yes they did come up big in the end. But they was on the field the majority of the game and was struggling. Slipping giving up big play runs and passes, all the flags they got, struggling to tackle, special teams giving up 80 yard runs and etc.

I don’t get how anyone watching this game can’t see for most of the game the defense was the most glaring issue of this game.

His players turning his 5 yard passes into 15+ cuz packers cant tackle. The sailing passes all game long, ect. If yall SF hype off his CMC final drive then(not Purdy's) yall in big trouble because Kyle decided to not use what works(running) and force Purdy to throw as a game manager. And yes, his numbers scream game manager

Is Purdy a GREAT QB yet? No, I wouldn't say that. But he's good and he's better than what the detractors say.

There's also a lot of bad QBs in the league so he has to at least be middle of the pack if you're making a list.

Not even us 49ers fans called Purdy "elite".... ever. That word was never uttered about Purdy. He's played better in the offense than Jimmy G was and that's all that's been said

I never said Purdy was an elite QB. I said he isn't a game manager and hasn't been since he got here. I showed all of the stats and some of the plays that prove he hasn't been "dipping and dunking" and you watch every Niner game like I do, right? So you should know what I'm saying is fact.

Here's how stupid some posters are. I'm about to expose some people. Purdy is not an "elite" QB and I'm pretty sure nobody besides a couple hot take pundits said he is. But he's had a great season and here's why I'm happy with ditching Jimmy G.

Jimmy G with the Niners in the playoffs...... 4 TDs and 6 INTs in 6 full games.
