I've meditated to the point where I started wavering and what not. You can still your being to a point where you feel the more subtle energies of your body. We can get into sweat lodges and shamanism, chants, deep mediation and stuff like that. You don't need a religion or a Holy Order to be one with Spirit, God, etc. A medium, someone more enlightened that you, a teacher, yes.
The church will usually denounce these practices while they take your money though. Charlatans.
I'm not mad at the fraud guy. At some point you gotta blame the gullibility of the followers. And these damn sheep have no problem lining these fraud's pockets with millions. Absolutely sickening.
There is a spirit of God called discernment .Oh really?
If its real, then we should be able to measure it.
What are the units of measurement of the holy ghost?![]()
if you're acknowledging "real christianity" as if you're more clued into a notion that everyone else has it wrong, you've already lost.I was going to create a thread about my experiences but it's sooo much that I want to address and put out there. These false prophets and their followers are making a mockery of the people and the original intent of Christianity. I would ask questions and receive dirty looks. I wouldn't participate in tithing, singing, and all that hollering and the Pastor would do and say things to intimidate me into joining in. He was so concerned by me not shouting that he would make it a point to mention from the pulpit that "in my church, we scream and shout for our Savior. If you not screaming and shouting, then we're not worshipping the same God."nikka please, you're just a former drug dealer who found The Church as a legal, nontaxable hustle. I'm from the streets myself so game recognize game.
Just as you stated, we don't need to be subjected to that. We can find God on our time in the comfort of our own home. Those people just want to be a part of something. They need hope, a positive outlook but ended up with the wolves.![]()
spiritual dancing doesn't mean they were doing anything.
its like clapping. Its physical affirmation of a group's acknowledgement, but it doesn't mean they were actually connected to something.
There is a spirit of God called discernment .
if you read the Bible and understand the oracles of God and avail yourself to Yahweh, he will grant you your wish.

Many of them had messed up lives as whores, drug addicts, dealers, convicts, thieves, losers etc. They need hope, a positive outlook but ended up with the wolves.![]()
We are both speaking from lack of personal experience on the matter. Schrodinger's Cat. One of us has to open the box.
What you believe has nothing to do with what can be proven and moreover, what actually exists or is possible. In my experience with meditation, lucid dreaming, and things of that nature. I believe it would be possible to induce spritual states.
Changing the brains chemical nature doesn't mean you're therefore clued into something you weren't aware of. You're not experiencing anything else externally. Your experience merely changes.Considering tribes are said to dance for hours, sometimes under the effects of psychedelic teas, or to the point of exhaustion when hallucinations are said to occur.
We havn't been to the depths they have been too. How are we to say what another experience or does not experience?
I question the intensity and depth of these practices.
God is not making anyone act foolish or disorderly, most people doing over the top shyt is for show. Even true emotional responses to God bringing something to your remembrance, is still not God forcing a certain reaction out of you. It's like tears rolling down your cheek when you think of or hear about something heartbreaking that directly affects you. You may not have intended on crying, but you did as a natural physical/emotional response to a piece of information.
That's the best way I could describe a genuine reaction to the Holy Spirit affecting a Christian. Many people have internal reactions(heart racing, chills, goosebumps) without much of an outwardly display. All that Benny Hinn stuff is masterpiece theatre and quite shameful & hilarious at the same time.
SOME is real?
You're a fukking idiot. Just say that so we don't have to go into why you're an idiot in detail.
