As part of the 
gang, I can tell you that if you have your shyt together (job, money, house, no kids, etc.) you can
easily date and find possible love, you just have to pick correctly.
The main problem is women over 30+ wanting to tie you down immediately if you mark off some of their checkboxes, even if they are half feeling you.
Once you get to a certain age, they love the thought of having a decent man and provider sometimes more than you, the actual person.
If they have kids and you're a "catch", they'll definitely be trying to cuff for a man to help out the household.
You're gonna run into a LOT of "I fukked off my 20s and 30s with certain dudes now I'll have to settle for something stable."
But overall, there are a ton of cool, dateable, single women out there over 30 that have everything they want in life except for a partner.

there's women who stick around with dudes who beat the shyt out of them and cheat on them, so I doubt crying would be much of an issue.

I'll be 36 in November and I've come to accept that I'll probably never get married/get in a serious long term relationship. I refuse to settle. To many women I encounter have too much baggage. We all have baggage but a lot of women nowadays have too much to unpack.

And all 40 year old women, or women 35 and up to be general, just seem to have mad kids, mad attitude, and mad baggage. When I start talking to them and start dealing with their BS, I immediately long for, and go back to, the peace and simplicity of my solitude and bachelor's life

OP it's never too late. Unless you believe it is. Your 40 years young. I feel like if you weren't interested in love you wouldn't have made this thread. Some brehs will swear they don't believe in love, are happy single, and so on, when deep down they desire it. Its natural to, most humans desire companionship and love. Isn't love why we are all here anyway? I get that you've had unfavorable experiences but trust me if you believe it's not too late and let it happen, it will. Keep faith there's a woman out there for you.
