He doesn't need 7 just like Jordan didn't need 11.

Im taking off 2 or 3 for Brady for the Patriots cheating. There is a reason 7 rings is an oultier, and sounds impossible. Its because it probably is in the nfl. If Russells 11 is underminded and not taken into account and he didnt cheat. Im definitely not respecting all 7 of a possible cheaters:mjlol:

Oh you right about that Andy Reid bullshyt :mjlol:

His clock management is bad and he doesn’t wanna run the football

It will be 3rd and 1 and he’ll lineup in an empty set 5 WRs

:dead:

Just last game against the bengals he threw 3 times before the half. Instead of running the clock down lol. And he did something stupid in the past two afc championship games. But ended up beating the bills, but lost to Bengals. Alot of stuff people would still chastize him for if Mahommes doesnt bail him out of those mistakes.

Andy and his dumb shyt is legendary :russ:

He was able to identify Mahomes and he is David Copperfield :wow:

Reid will have you like :mindblown: with his play design and :mindblown: with the dumb shyt he does.

I can't put Rogers in the mix at all. He's just lost too many games he shouldn't have. I know Peyton lost a bunch like that but Rodgers' is twice as bad.

Peyton was carried by defense to his two rings on the colts he had 3td's and 7int's in the postseason his first ring and for his second ring in Denver everybody knows the corpse of manning got carried by "the No Fly Zone" broncos defense

Peyton has a worse playoff win percentage then Rodgers 14-13 for manning vs 12-10 for rodgers

Peyton manning has been 1 and done 9 times :mjlol: in postseason

and when look at how much legit blue chip, first round, pro bowl, all pro playermaker/ weapons Peyton has had compared Rodgers to lift his team

Of Aaron Rodgers' 364 Career TD Passes, Just One Has Been Caught by a First-Round Draft Pick

Rodgers finally threw a TD pass to a first round draft pick after 502 attempts
AARON RODGERS finally completed a touchdown pass to a first round draft pick on Sunday.

The 38-year-old Green Bay Packers quarterback made his 501st and 502nd touchdown receptions.

You do realize NFL Media and heads were saying these same things about Manning as well, throughout most of the 00s? Then the conversation picked back up when he came back off that neck injury crushing shyt in Denver...

Specifically, the conversation was, "is this guy the best we've ever seen at the position?"

You dudes have no respect for history, even recent history, it aint like Manning retired 38 years ago or something. This guy in his prime innovated the position from the line of scrimmage, and I'm not about to overvalue "mobility" because he had possibly the highest IQ a QB has ever had that negated the fact he was immobile...

He beat defenses with his brain way before he beat them with his arm, and we not about to act like he didn't have an arm to make every single throw. Every single one...

We also gonna stop painting this air of perfection around Mahomes, I saw him throw at least two idiotic passes yesterday, which isn't unusual for him, its just more often than not he completes the pass and people forget it wasn't an actual smart play, so when he misses, its ignored...

Marino--->Favre--->Manning--->Rodgers--->now Mahomes. He's the latest evolution in these guys, I keep telling you prisoners of the moment lol...how he plays in big games will ultimately determine where he winds up All-Time, but on a pound for pound scale, I've yet to see anything convincing of why he's better than any of those guys. None of these guys played in vacuums and your surroundings and organizational infrastructure have to enter the comvo at some point...

Also, he ain't better than Wilson or Watson, he just has better support than those two. He certainly hasn't held up this level of elite play as long as Russ, so holla at me when he sustains this for longer, and Watson is flat out on par with this dude without the requisite weapons from the top down...

Stop it, don't do that...

I agree he's on pace. Taking nothing away from him, Mahomes is amazing, the best QB in football if only because he's the most exciting and on the best team. The way he's come out the gate is prolific but it isn't unprecedented, so people lose me with these "best we've ever seen" rants like there aren't guys this was said about prior...

Not as old as you but having grown up in the era that caught Manning's entire career and his entire prime, that alone gives me a no to this question. Not even mentioning watching Brady and Brees for 20 years, two guys who not the most naturally gifted but one is the unquestionably the most clutch QB I've ever seen period, and the other when he was at his apex, had a cannon that carried a piss-poor defense and a revolving door of middling skill position pieces in New Orleans for YEARS....

Anybody giving a yes to this question automatically I'm questioning their football IQ...

More support than the legion of boom:comeon:?

I give you Brady of course, and Brees is underated. But unfortunately for him people view him as a system qb just like Russel Wilson now. Brees may get his credit if Sean Payton truly gets exposed without Brees.

All I know is I clearly remember media questioning if Peyton was a playoff choker, and if he could get over the hump for many years. Which clearly means he underperformed based on the teams that he had. Id have to go back and see who he was losing to in the playoffs to see if thats valid. But if thats been a narrative about you within your career. Should you even be in the convo with guys who have never had that problem?

Rodgers got his superbowl, and is at least still making it to nfc championship games. And although he hasnt performed well. I believe he lost to the 49ers who eventually went to the SB and made Mahommes look average. Then he lost to that Bucs team that went to the SB,who made Mahommes look awful.Offensive line injuries were a factor, but that defense was monstrous when motivated.

No but fastest start / rise to greatness that I’ve seen in the NFL. The route for him to be the goat is there but Tom left such a high bar. Got a long career left to go so it’s possible. But he’s still not the best QB I’ve seen. Up there tho.

Peyton DESERVED to be carried to be defenses in the post season because he had trash defenses most of his career. And if Aaron is as great as you nikkas try to make him out to be he shouldn't have needed all these first rounders. Peyton had 3 great receivers his career so don't sit there and act like everyone he threw to were hall of famers. Stop trying to make excuses for Aaron. Its been 13 fukking years. It's never taken Peyton that much time to reach ANY of his superbowls. Kids have started kindergarten and now have GRADUATED high school since Aaron has been to his last SB. No way in HELL is Peyton a bigger choker than Aaron.

You're trying to have it both ways with this argument you're using for Aaron and that is not how it works. Either he's really that great or he is not. And clearly, he is NOT.

already making excuses eh?

If brady had any kind of defense he would've beaten the eagles easily in 2017.
if brady had any kind of defense then he would've beaten the Rams last year to go to another SB.
If brady had any kind of defense he would've beaten the Colts in 2006 to play against Rex Grossman in the SB.

Stop making excuses.

2 down 5 more to go.

Brady is the GOAT not because of the stats. it's because what he's done in the biggest stage.
And went out like a dud....

To me in terms of peak QB play, yes. Aaron Rodgers, Brady, Prime Peyton, Joe Montana and New Orleans Brees are up there as well.

Mahomes puts what they do altogether though.

Pre-snap audibles, reading and manipulating defenses, high football IQ, can play as OC, take you down from the pocket throwing dots, can scramble for yards, then backyard football with an insane arm when he needs to improvise. Pure power laser throws, pure touch throws over the top of the defense between defenders, can do all of this during clutch time when the game is on the line, can make difficult throws, can make easy throws, etc.
