Brady led the NFL in TDs in 2002

In 2005 he was #1 in passing yards
Good call out. I missed that because he didn't go to the playoffs that year.

What I'm getting at is, there was some discussion once he had that 3rd ring, but it wasn't unanimous until he got Moss. They weren't saying he was GOAT'ed with 1 ring and 1 TD leading season. Pat has been in MVP contention every single year he has played. Brady was NOT on his trajectory over the same span of years.

Although I know it's a pass favorable league now, he might not have the yards or TDs, but he'd still be pulling off mind-bending passes.

On pure talent he's in the conversation. On pure stats he's in the conversation. If Pat does nothing else, he's Rodgers status already. If he gets 3 rings, I think it's undeniable.

1. Brady had 3 rings, all 3 comeback wins.

2. Belichick 4th and 2 stupidity away from playing Rex Grossman in the SB. With Reche Caldwell as a main WR.

3. Top 3 finishes twice in MVP voting

4. Led the league in passing yd once

5. Led the league in TD once

6. 10-0 to start the playoff career

Yall either too young or heavily influenced by anti brady narrative. Only time Brady ever was a game manager was in 2001 when he first started.

It's closer than yall think. Brady was perceived as a clear top 2 QB in the league in that pre moss era.

Put it this way. if Manning is Mahomes then Brady was Burrow, but with 3 rings.

And 2007 eradicated the perception that he doesn't put up numbers.

As great as Mahomes is, he does have kelce and stat friendly offence. Brady's early number was a result of heavily run oriented offense. Brady never had a deep threat like mahomes did early on.

Wasn't "4th and 2" in 2009? :patrice:

This isn't the NBA I don't care about team accolades. He has underperformed but I'm talking just pure QB skill

Rodgers has some of the worst meltdowns in big games. Especially last year, Rodgers basically doing nothing in a home playoff game. Mahomes is more talented than Rodgers anyway.

No he isn't.
MArino is on another level from all these modern cats, he didn't have the offensive favored ruleset and he played in an era where QBs weren't coddled and protected and still put up those numbers.

I respect Marino. I watched his entire career, even in college.

Mahomes is better.

Rodgers had terrible to overrated teams his entire career in my opinion but to your credit we've never see Aaron do what Pat did last night and carry a complete corpse of a team on his back

But 1 SB is still more than the majority of QBs so I don't take that lightly

Rodgers has had teams that had no business losing. That L he took last year was egregious…….
