Nintendo fell off heavily when they released Gamecube. PS2 and Xbox was running shyt in the early 2000's.

Nintendo came back with the Wii and the DS

Nintendo didn't dumb down the gaming industry, they were the innovators and trendsetters.

Wii was more of an interactive friendly system for all ages. Still playable till this day

And yet the xbox only sold 3m more systems that gen 24m than the Gamecube at 21m while PS2 sold 150m systems

Nintendo had started losing their grip during the N64 era they have had peaks and troughs

I'm tired of yall Sony gamers accusing Nintendo of shyt, that they themselves have done like making movie AAA Blockbuster games with voice acting and BS cinematics in games that take up 60% of the screentime, on top of 0 replayability outside of online play, and bankrupting more 3rd party publishers in the PS3 era when the great Recession occurred with gaming budgets being priced more than live action movies.
