How u gonna say that with Jersey right in between plus Philly AND Jersey got their own identities

If you stop someone on the street and ask them to tell you about San Diego what are 3 things they will say about the city that everyone knows ?

living in Philly your only immediate options are New York and Atlantic City

I got love for Philly. The vibe is different in Z San Diego, so it really comes down to mood and preference.
San Diego is more diverse and like LA, there are a ton of transplants.
At the end of the day, southern Cali > north east.
y’all gotta stop this more diverse nonsense when comparing any North East areas BTW …. North East >>> any place on planet Earth

There’s no one thing that makes the city vastly different than other large cities or other beach cities, it’s a number of things together that make it superior. I always looked at those two like that. Both cities are like a smaller, less vibrant version of their larger peers to the north.
The only exception with Philly is technically it's an older city than NYC, has its own unique East Coast swag (never tried to copy NYC) and to a city lover, it can compete in its own right with most cities in America. I feel like younger people will appreciate NYC but, once you start getting older, cities like Chicago, DC and Philly start making more sense since they're more livable and less hectic but, still dope cities.
