the iPhone is designed to be a product for normal end users. Android is a product designed for tech heads and developers.
The iPhone is one device on the OS platform. Android has to count for too many different hardware configurations.It's insane that my dual core iPhone 6s with 2 GBs of RAM and a 1715 mAh battery can give my 8 core Galaxy S6 with 3 GBs of RAM and a 2550 mAh battery a run for it's money and typically gets better overall battery life than the S6.
To make it a little simpler.
Android is java apple is c++.
Member webos was also c++ but the hardware was just trash and mad lag.
