i'm living in poverty...but i make sure that i have a nice PC and internet.

25....just got a DOD Navy job...I'm starting at 60k and will be in Panama City...cheap cost of living here. Fortunately I have no student debt. I know too many people that make good money with 40k plus of student debt.....

good for you, 50k is still not a boat load of money no matter your situation it's a solid middle class income, in some areas it stretches a ton, in most areas it doesn't but it ain't no god damned "living like a king" amount
when I think living like a king I think motherfukkers in the Islands of Savannah I have seen who are topping 65k and have money to spare

I used to make 6 figures but I had to start all over cause "basketball reasons". No debt, no kids and savings looking decent though. I could buy a home if I wanted.

I don't have the time or patience to learn a trade....nor do I want to. I don't want to go back to school to get my masters. I'm 31 and just floating through life making money trying to use my talents.
I didn't give a fukk about college either. I just took Media Comm to get a degree and get the fukk out of the worthless PWI I attended and to not be around dumbass sports loving cacs and c00ns.
Seriously, Amerikkka is a goddamn sham and scam for black folks.
I have two degrees, graduated college with a 3.9 gpa, did 4 internships, have over 10 years of work experience on my resume and have been through almost 20 jobs...none of them lasted for more than 6 months. I have managed my own business and have been responsible for a whole staff.
So tell me how white people with a high school diploma and a criminal record have an easier time finding work and making money on a consistent basis than me....
My dad is a doctor with his own practice...he thinks I am lazy for not going the traditional route for a job and I tell him he doesn't understand how Amerikkka fukks over black people trying to asssimilate, seek employment, make money, and live a genuine law-abiding life due to white supremacy.
And they are coming from African and West Indian countries where people be making 400 a MONTH.
They came here cause they thought the streets were paved with gold....for their generation.
I had to leave Pittsburgh to find job opportunities to make money cause that city is sooooooooooooo goddamn racist! It's like they don't want black men or black women doing anything with their lives!!!!!!!
My older sister graduated college over 10 years ago and can't find work there at all! And in her mid 30s lives at home with my parents.
There are fukking many areas of that goddamn city where black people can't even get hired for entry level work...cause there are so many whites they don't have to even bother hiring blacks!

I remember a thread here, there was a few women from nyc that refused to date anyone making less than 100k. Comparing nyc cost of living vs everyone elses is asinine.
Now there are cost of living calculators out there that would give us a better perspective. How mad are you dusty new yawkas gonna be when you figure out 100k in your city is equivalent to 40k in some random southern town. But this isnt about reality
I think some ppl look at those expensive ass cities as regular and fly over states just don't factor into their thinking
