Isiah does get overrated when his accomplishments are used to argue how great he was compared to peers. Him having two titles or scoring 25 on a busted ankle isn't why he's better than Chris Paul, that's a shytty argument. "Isiah beat Magic, Bird and Jordan" includes no context of what actually happened in those series and if it was necessary for Isiah to be the best player on the court for Detroit to win. Also not a good argument/
He's also not really brought up a ton, so the overrating isn't as annoying as more popular guys. Only really see it in threads where top PG's are discussed. I guess this is because he never won a MVP, so you don't have people saying he was the best player in the league at any point, and the amount of backlash those Pistons received from opposing stanbases and players that hated their guts. Doesn't have the crazy longevity of Stockton either who is brought up usually because of having unbreakable records.
