Funny a recruiter just hit me up from Amazon and I got a phone interview with them scheduled beginning of October

Never would I have thought I'd reach a point in my career where the big tech companies start reaching out to me and im legit like

Not offering fully remote at this point is probably the biggest from them

Im just going to go through the process and ask for a ridiculous amount if money and see what happens . I haven't interviewed since i started this job in 2019 so I think im well over due. Is Seattle or Herndon, Va even decent places like that?

How would I protect a database and web application. Explain how encryption works. Questions about devsecops, etc.

Anybody know best study materials for CCNA? Also working on going from hypervisor to physical network stuff. Looking on ebay for some switches and stuff. What at minimum should I get?

Tried that one way video interview today for a IT job, and that shyt was way too uncomfortable for me. I was stuttering and shyt because I was more obsessed with how I looked on camera, the feedback and noise that my webcam picks up, and making sure everything is perfect. Also adding the fact I cant re-record my videos. The whole shyt just didn't feel natural. .

I was recording for one of the questions and midway just rage quit and said "fukk this" under my breath. Hopefully it didn't save and they don't see that

What are some red flags for you guys when job hunting and interviewing?

I got an email about an IT Operations Engineer position. I said I’d be interested in hearing more about it without seeing a full job description. And the few “challenges” that the hiring manager mentioned in the email don’t interest me at all.

And when I looked up the company, I saw an article about layoffs in April 2020. They had funding. They couldn’t continue normally after a month in the pandemic?
