not trying to avoid Networking concepts because it intersects with everything in IT
I just find the learning material a bit underwhelming and confusing and I just want to get the biggest return on my investment even if it is a free voucher.
you got experience in networking?
AWS Solutions Architect Associate exam this weekend. Wish me luck brehs![]()
I tried to get Sec+ without Net+ and failed
Got my Net+ and then Sec+ within two months of each other. It is a lot of memorization but fukk it, the concepts are valid. Now if you can only pick one, go for Sec+ as it covers some Network stuff and a lot of companies are looking for Sec+ at a minimum. Probably helped me with my new company and I'm hoping I can get them to pay for my bachelor's as well
Studying for Net+ currently and I aint catching on as quick as I did with alot of stuff in A+
This subnetting shyt got me like![]()
I already have prof messer playing in an open tab lol.The majority of the submitting questions on the test were with Class C addresses.
There is an easy trick to figuring out how many addresses per /27 /28 /29.
Look up Professor Messor and Mike Myers.
fukk subnetting

Nah, I focused on subnetting, I wasn't trying to fail Network+
Did u see many subnetting questions on the Network+? I heard if u get them on your exam, it will only be a couple questions pertaining to them. I went through the subnetting section on Mike Meyers course and after 5 min![]()
Most companies won't just throw you into the fire without knowing how their company works, their applications, procedures, etc.Is there a good amount of training in these positions or do they count on you mostly knowing everything yourself?
