You telling me just because its music I wont know if I truly like something or not instantly? gtfoh. You don't have to appreciate everything like that breh....you telling me you have no opinion on music when you listen to it because it aint been "appreciated" you childish...

damn...surprised to have seen so much hate for this album...

i'm not a Cole fan AT ALL, but I decided to give this album a shot today since it's so short and i'm thoroughly impressed...i peeped Born Sinner and 2014 and thought they were pretty whatever but nothing to warrant a 2nd listen...had to run this back once it was done...

If Cole keeps it consistent he could elevate even further sales wise and also in terms of stature in due course. This album has gained him some new fans and a lot of publicity, a lot of people can relate to the content of this if you got children, lost somebody and a bunch of other topics, a lot of females fukking with it too, touched a lot of people, future could be bright, he's also become sort of a spokesperson for anti mumble style rap and back to something with substance and genuine emotion, when you start to represent people people start to love you. I personally wasn't big on Cole's first album, improved on 2nd, 3rd I was a fan of and I'm a fan of this, it's increased my respect for him as an artist and as a fan, because I wanted to see if he'd follow up the last very good album with another very good 2, feel like he's done that. He had a lot of potential now to make some positive changes in the game, let's hope he's effective in this. I like diversity, there's room for more people than just Cole, it shouldn't be petty jealously and competition, there's room for plenty of artists to strive, diversity is good for Hip Hop.

This is the first J Cole album I've seen that I've seen lik nearly eveyone talking about, mad people I know personally feeling this, feels like a breathe of fresh air to them, I'm listening to dope Hip Hop all the time personally but mainstream wise I feel the same, I like how it can take you on a journey and make you feel an array of emotions. Album ain't 1 to "turn up" to nor is it intended to be, but I think it does touch people and it tells a story.

The tours for this LP going to be something ELSE! I can imagine Cole having a sea of fans at the Garden with this middle fingers up during "De'ja Vu"

Didn't he say he wasn't touring anytime soon?

This album live would be dope at a smaller venue. Like those NPR videos on youtube with a band. Yeah I know it'll be a big tour, but the vibe of the music ain't really suited for it outside of like 2 songs. Neither was FHD but it is what it is.

J Cole drops his fourth album of his career. 4 Your Eyez Only has dropped two years after the critically acclaimed 2014 Forest Hills Drive. Kosher and JimmyV drop their opinions on the album and the collectively agree that this album isn’t the best work put out my J Cole. JimmyV believes the album’s story is something you can hang your hat on. Kosher believes this album is nothing too special.
