I've been trying to understand the problem all day and for me it's come down to there is no problem.

First off she alluded to him and was totally in the wrong for that bc he was actually out there protesting. And then once he actually said something they got mad and said he was "tone checking" her or whatever. When he literally wasn't. She was alluding to him on Twitter tryna call him out. He was just giving his POV and then was basically saying "I'm out here doing my part but if that's not enough how can I do better?". But I guess that's still a problem for Twitter.

The man got called out for nothing and then clarified and didn't even hold a grudge against her. Like I do not get the problem.

You can but you also should acknowledge it's not a full representation of life.

I can go to a bar, engage in endless discussion with patrons there about how LeBron is better than MJ and get many of the people in the bar to agree with me.

When I leave the bar and go outside, that doesn't mean that everyone outside the bar now believes LeBron > MJ.

That's social media to me when it comes to situations like this. You can go there and debate ad nauseam about J. Cole's song, but when you log off, the outside world is still going on and there's countless other people who don't care or simply weren't in the "bar" to engage in the conversation themselves.

Exactly. Plus Twitter is for women, let’s be honest. Especially black women. Black men don’t use that shyt.

Ayo, imagine if the Muslim breh that helped Malcolm X in prison was like, “forget that brother Detroit Red...he ain’t down for the cause, he can learn this knowledge for HIMSELF!!”

All these holier than thou activist types end up creating echo chamber force fields where they feel like they can look down on ppl cuz they read more books or happened to have more mentors or some shyt. Imagine refusing to help your brothers and sisters get up to ur level and build stronger communities because of intellectual egocentrism. Whole shyt is counterproductive to the movement they say they’re trying to lead.

Like we don’t need all the numbers we can get.
