Maybe I'm wrong but I think Cole was saying let's not divide each other. He isn't educated on some things but have patience with him as he learns. We don't need to be divided at a time like this.
He starts off the song saying just because I have a college degree doesn't mean I'm knowledgeable and pointed to her as someone that knows what she's talking about.

She came at his head and he's pretty much like, why you going so hard:patrice:. You want people to help, don't tell them they ain't shyt first.

you're NOT "n!ggas"

Breh just should've had a private convo :francis: All this did was allow other people to jump into something that's honestly between the two of them. Continously making subbed songs (diss or not) is getting corny and comes off passive too.

I see what y'all did there tho :youngsabo: "Tone" Policing

Thank you for posting the song with that said and after listening to the song I don’t know what any of this shyt is about.

Edit: I don’t trust anyone constantly saying Queen or King.

The lyrics are in the OP......if you actually read the OP.

And that's a lesson that we haven't learned yet. A significant portion of the reason we can never sustain a movement is that there are plenty of people that WANT to help, that WANT to learn, but they don't know how. Despite what people's timelines would say, attacking someone for their lack of knowledge isn't helpful in this case, since for a lot of people, we're talking about giving them information that has been purposefully kept from them.

I'm just really disappointed that this has turned out the way that it has. It's people who are one hand demanding that absolutisms not be used against us to write us all off as a people, but trying to then us absolutisms to condemn black men.

That's the weird thing about this whole shyt, he didn't come at her foul and was respectful as could be, so what the fukk is the problem and how people saying he should of dm'd her, shouldn't that go both ways, if she had a problem with him, she could of hit his dms up, why make it public
This has been the long standing problem in the black community. It's ok for black men to be called out publicly about anything, but you can't call black women out about anything ever publicly or privately. The black women who are upset with Cole just wanted a reason to stop protesting anyway.

Eh she publically criticized him albeit passive aggressively with the subtweets.

He really didn't even say nothing bad about her outside of them being soldiers of the same struggle and how everyone might not agree with her message delivery.

People are reaching. He never once dissed her in my opinion.

Chance needs to sit his corny azz down.
