James Harden Interview with FOX Sports: "... the other superstar (KD) there wanted to leave. So it's like: Am I still the quitter?"

Does Harden have a point?

I am a certified Harden hater and will always root against him. What Brooklyn allowed Kyrie to do last season was inexcusable and Harden was the only one who recognized what a problem it was. I'm not saying quitting on the court like he did was noble but I get it. Kyrie is a human wrecking ball and Brooklyn has enabled him since he signed.

And your point about enduring life without KD isn't true. There was a point last season when Harden had played more career games for the Nets than KD. :skip:

When he first got traded there, he played two months without Durant and somehow had his name in MVP talks because he was so good.

WHAT BROOKLYN ALLOWED
KYRIE TO DO?

YOU CACS THINK YOU
CAN PHYSICALLY INJECT BLACK
MEN WITH shyt THEY DIDNT CONSENT
TO LIKE ITS THE 1940S?

:pachaha: Fukk Harden. Dude is irrelevant.

Dude had skill but all the flopping , poor diet and his overall lifestyle broke him down.

He quit on 2 teams in a year:bryan: inexcusable. Some of Y'all really trying to justify it too smh.

Quit on One of the talented teams ever.

All dude had to do was hold the fort down for a month and it would have been alright. Weak nikka couldn't do it:scust:

He is ringless for a reason

Kevin Durant never quit on the team …he showed up in shape and gave it his all every night. He asked out because he didn’t feel the team was going in the right direction for him at the time.

Fat fukk Harden came into the season out of shape, playing terribly, purposefully throwed games , quit on the team and then asked out.

There is no comparison of the two. fukk harden

Harden speaking about the Nets is EXACTLY what I've been trying to tell their fans. Lack of leadership, accountability and direction. That Big 3 run was doomed from the start.

I mean..What Nets fan has denied that the team lacked in leadership and accountability? And despite that, that team would have likely won a title of not for the injuries against Milwaukee. So I don’t understand this viewpoint

What exactly do you mean by this? The part where they sent him home for 3 months or where they brought him back for road games, because the rest of the team was running on fumes? Or are you suggesting they should’ve released or traded him?

I've been arguing with cats for the entire season over this. And last year too.

Interesting you believe beating Milwaukee would've meant winning the title. You see what I mean @NYC Rebel.

i've always liked harden and still do, but i have to admit that i have never seen anyone quit on teams like he did. except kyrie, i guess. but with harden there are also the kind of unbelievably terrible playoff games.

Nets were never his first choice, he was legitimately injured, and the team was a dumpster fire.
Considering how he looked with the hamstring issues in the 2nd half of last season with the sixers, a team he was fully engaged on, I'm not sure it's fair to expect the man to risk permanent damage when the injury was less healed on a team he hated. It's like saying Kawhi quit on the Spurs. Meathead fans who don't believe players should have any agency will say that Harden quit but he worked out a situation to get off the team that was mutually beneficial for both sides

He played more career games than KD because Durant got hurt last year. Let’s stop the BS bro. What do you mean Harden was the only one? Kyrie literally said he could hear KD’s frustration when he spoke to him. He said his own family told him he was wrong. There was nothing to be done with that dude. When the hell did he join Brooklyn and play two straight months without KD? Why are you lying?

he can spin it how he wants to but….

KD was ready to bail on the team but he never quit and is still on the team giving it his all

whereas harden quit on the team AND eventually bailed
