Even a progressive, western Nation like norway opened the doors slightly but neglected to allocate immigrant services, or set up a central govt organization to manage them leading to gang violence and literal grenade wars in oslo perpetrated primarily by immigrants.

Or alternatively, look at a place with a history of immigrants like Canada which had all of the things they needed in place, but was inundated by Indians who gamed the system and refused to integrate.

I don't think Japanese can deal with immigrants. Too homogenous. It works in the West due to our ideals, but not in Eastern countries like Japan.

Also - immigration introduces its own set of problems.

Japanese men don't want their country overrun with white men because YOU KNOW all the GenZ gaijin would beeline straight there.

I’m out there right now. It’s dope as fukk especially if you like nature. I definitely preferred the low key spots to the big cities.

I would consider staying out here a while if I could still work for my company. Work culture is crazy. I saw gangs of suited up dudes at 8am Sunday morning when I was in Osaka

My lawyer answers emails at 8pm.

Most offices won’t leave until the boss leaves. Many times offices don’t shut down until 8-9pm, then you are expected to go drinking with your coworkers. You get home to your 300SF apartment at 11 pm just to wake up at 6am to commute back to work and do it all over again.

Japanese probably look at our 40 hour work weeks like

Europeans look at our 3 weeks per year of vacation time like

Kuwaitis and Emeritus look at Europeans like, “y’all work?”

Women had babies with less education and when religion was stronger. I've seen those conditions work- and the women weren't slaves.

I'd rather the whole population die than have a planet full of slaves.

I read this book called "The Two Parent Privilege" and interesting enough it seems that the educated, more affluent classes, are still getting married and reproducing. The ones that aren't are the uneducated men / women so they're suffering more.

I'm for women getting education and progressing. I'm just wondering how this issue can be resolved for both genders because it may destabilize our country and we see now people not pairing up is one of the contributing factors to the rise of depression and loneliness. I want women to find viable partners and build communities, not an erosion of it. We see that this is causing a huge divide and problem in many levels. Another problem is everything is simply getting more expensive so maybe more social safety nets will help that. In tech I see we have an opportunity for more paid maternity & paternity leave. Other industries are still lagging.
