didn't really have time to watch the game - was at the gym, went to visit my old trainer, had to cook dinner...ahhh. anyway, definitely surprised we posted a shut out. heard bowman's name quite a few times. was our defense that good or was their offense that bad?

can't believe that's the way the Los Angeles Rams debuted their first season back, not only cathing an L on MNF, but a shutout, after re-upping "it must be the 'stache" fisher and 3rd stringing the QB they mortgaged the future on. i hope marcellus does his show today, gonna be comedy

I wasn't at first, because we had a guy who just took us to the nfc championship the year before

Rewind a year in this situation and Kaep was one of the worst qbs in the nfl

I loved Kaep post SB, I bought in completely I thought he was gonna be the best qb in the league

Rewatched the game. Our defense is legit as long as we stay healthy. Will be even better when Lynch Mob gets back. Tartt needs to start and Ray Ray needs to start.

Offensively our Oline is stout as fukk. Tiller and Brown was straight mauling nikkas. Los is gonna be great this year I just hold my breath after every tackle he takes. Gabbert was atrocious real talk. Wide open WRs getting balls at the dirt, behind them, over their heads. Just a garbage ass QB and ill stick to him being benched by or after the Seahawks game. Short week against Scam and nem and its gonna be a rough gane if Flabbert doesnt pick it up because those INTs the Rams dropped Carolina will make plays on

No lie if Kaep was the QB it would gave been 49-0. But a W is a W.

I'll say this our Defense hasn't even meshed yet and they look very good. Even our defensive backs look good as a unit.

I also love this offensive line, the Rams boast one of the NFLs better front seven, and we threw them up and down the field like rag dolls.

I see no reason why we can't punch Carolina in the mouth next week.

I know we we were expecting the front seven and OL to be good, but man they were better than I thought they would be.

TBF though its hard to say how truly good they are due to how horrible the Rams are but that was a very impressive performance.

There were some obvious similarities between the two games, other than the score. Like quarterback stat lines, as Kaepernick completed 17-of-26 passes for 165 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions, while Gabbert went 22-for-35 with 170 yards, a scoring throw to Vance McDonald and no picks.

Yet one performance was considered average and while the other performance has been considered solid by some

I distinctly remember dude second guessing the Harbaugh decision to bench Alex for the longest time. Even when he did come along it was grudgingly and moment his play was iffy he went back to full Smith Stan mode It's what the @JLova and Last Emp fued started over.
