Simmons left Philly. Kawhi left Toronto. A lot of those players are still in big markets but it doesn’t seem like the big market is what’s driving them.

He didn’t go to Vegas in summer league, he didn’t attend the team practices in Tennessee. He did go to Duke practice and USC football games though. When you decline so many team activities during one summer, that is concerning. Even someone as busy as LeBron always shows up to Summer league for a day.

Those guys were established stars with clear reasons for why they wanted to move where they went though. Zion is on his rookie deal doing this shyt, it’s pretty unprecedented but I get what you’re saying. This is different than just the player empowerment thing.
