Today I see my check with 500 missing

$400 a month don't even pay for food for 2 kids. Well scratch that, it can if you stretch it but that's $50/week per kid. You leaving their mother to play your role as the provider. Find a way to do better. Kids gotta eat, have clothes, have a place to stay, a way to get the places they need to go, etc. If I had custody of my kids and my BM tried to give me $400/mo I'd laugh in her face

OP I'm assuming you see your kids every other weekend. If you see them a lot more than that then this is a case of the bm not being being shyt. When me and my ex spilt I made sure to still get my daughter 3 nights a week and split the cost on everything for her. When it's finally time for this divorce to go thru I have months of proof. It also helps that I pay for a house in both our names and it's in my daughter's school district

I agree .. the kids do come first.. but who are you or me to say its a small amount. I don't know homies pay scale, his lifestyle etc... I can afford 400 a check ..hell I pay 2000 a month for my kids to go to private school ... but this isn't about you or me...

If they take 400 and check and his take home is only 150 after.. then its not a small amount.. but I thought in NY the max is 20% garnishment. assume 30 for taxes.. that should still leave a passable net

Better to let him fester in his imagination, where his kids don't benefit from their mother having a car to transport them; where she's allowing her kids to starve while spending thousands every month on beauty treatments that actually cost about $30; where he lives in one of the most expensive counties in America, but is outraged child support costs would be adjusted based on the fact; where the mom is spending money allocated for her children on a new boyfriend, while he, the dad, refuses to seek custody of his children, despite the alleged unfit parenting of their mom; where actual dads, the ones who actually live with their children and care for them full time, don't spend just as much on child care.
