One solution i seen work for a coworker of mines was when he first got his shyt garnished, he pulled this move. He took her to court and filed for joint custody. Now with joint custody you still pay child support but its joint, so the bm does too. His bm canceled the cs with the quickness

A father who can't support himself can't support his children. Like others have, I advise you to scrimp and save and get an attorney. Hopefully you can push for 50/50 custody which is becoming much more common these days.start talking to family and friends, coworkers, neighbors whoever you can for attorney reccomendations.spending 2000 now may seem alot, but it could save you 10000 or more down the line. If gf is living with you hopefully she will be able to help out more with your household expenses soon.

As a side note please don't take it lightly that the grandmother(s) are willing to house and feed these children at no cost to you or bm. It's wonderful, it's a blessing, but it's not their responsibility. Grandparents didn't get to nut when you and bm did, they don't have to do anything for yall. Also God forbid something happened to them. You and bm need to work it out amongst yourselves to not depend on them so heavily, y'all aren't babies and your kids aren't babies.
