Just got out of an 11 yr marriage myself..:blessed:

The house that I bought with my 401k (that I'm still paying back) it's for her n the kids now:wow:

Paying 800 a month child support:wow:

Can't even claim 1 of them on the income tax:mjlol: get about 2000 compared to her 10,000 every year :wow:

Now stuck living in a efficiency in east Miramar u ready for this life playboy? It's cheaper to keep her who ever said that shyt knew what time it was.

I actually offically got out after 14 years last spring 2019. however, I kept the house cuz I had more money and simply bought out her equity. however, she never paid the mortgage or down payment, so it's still a major L. also I'm paying $1500 for 2 kids. however, one kid will be 18 in less than a year, so she technically comes off the books. other than that, I don't regret us splitting up, cuz we both had enough of each other. I'm just happy, that even after paying her, I'm still able to survive on my salary while still preserving a sizeable nest egg to boot.

however, after getting free, getting women is surprisingly easy though.

youre gonna have visions of her bent over,
covered in sweat with her eyes rolling in
the back of her head and biting her bottom
lip while getting plowed out by some nikka
in gucci flip flops and her saying how she's
finally got somebody to make it hurt.
Let that shyt go breh.....one day at a time.

I dunno. But for me, I know once I'm done, I'm done. I don't give a fukk who, what or when she's currently fukking if she is fukking. it matters none to me at this point.

If the couple cannot agree on who can keep solo ownership of the house following divorce, the parties may be ordered by the court to undergo a buyout. This means that one spouse buys the 50% ownership interest of the other spouse in order to stay in the house. ... Buyouts do not need to occur at the time of divorce.Nov 29, 2018

From my understanding in court whatever property u buy WHILE married no matter who's name is on the deed the other spouse entitled and if u got kids forget about it

yup, this is what I did, thus why I have full ownership of the house.

when I paid her out, it was essentially the largest check I've ever cut in my life. :mjcry:

but such is the price of freedom. albeit a HUGE price none the less.

Wait why did u have to pay her anything on a house she didn’t make any payments towards? And how much did u actually pay her. Cuz this this quite enraging to read.

I heard is some states it can be extended if they attend college.

Don't they take the mother's income into consideration on child support? So if she remarries can't her new husband's income be used in the calculation? Or is that just for alimony or some shyt?

Did you get a female lawyer to help in both cases?

cuz this house was bought while we was together. despite the fact I came up with all the money and was the only one who pays the mortgage and the mortgage is in my name. it's considered community property. so the only option was to sell the house and split the money, or buy her out. and I didn't wanna move, so I bit the bullet.

I paid her half the equity, so it was some tens of thousands of dollars.

I think ur thinking about alimony. we make about the same amount though. I don't pay alimony. I had a female lawyer, but we live in two different states now, so it was a bytch having to deal with a lawyer in another state while being up here. I couldn't use a lawyer up here unfortunately.

essentially, I was just trying to throw money at the problem just to get it done and finalized.

child support ends for me once they graduate high school. so that will be May 2021.

oh yeah, I also have kids on my health insurance as well. :damn:

yup, it's just a percentage of your gross. no room to negotiate there. however, I've already gotten two raises since the shyt was finalized, so that helps.

I also cut my expenses. my mortage dropped, my phone bill and internet are $55 a month combined, and since I live alone most of the time, I'm saving money on food obviously.

So the only thing she comes out of pocket for is her lawyer fees? Or do you have to pay that too?

Gross? So is child support pre tax or something? I assume they don't factor current debts either

hell no. I didn't pay that shyt. :whew:

but ya'll already know the man gets fukked regardless.

but I did feel some kinda way when right after I paid her, she stunting in a brand new SUV :snoop:

that said, I still have more money than her regardless cuz I'm smarter with money than she is.
