White kids who don't listen to rap, sure.I'm pretty sure there's people around Kai age who doesn't know who Wale is
He must be.He's not lol
I heard someone say the only American music he listened to coming up was Michael JacksonWhite kids who don't listen to rap, sure.
He must be.
Not if you were a teenager 10 years ago
HE WAS AROUND 10 YEARS AGO
SMART GUY?
THE RAP SCENE NOW
AND THE RAP SCENE 10 YEARS AGO
ARE 2 DIFFERENT WORLDS
Wale just had a #22 Billboard 100 hit in 2019 with “On Chill” that got play everywhere.
Then he's an outlier in general.I heard someone say the only American music he listened to coming up was Michael Jackson
I can believe it
I never bought rap CDs but I heard music on the radio and knew of artists. I never heard of Nore until his podcast
I never heard no one around around me talking about Nore everThen he's an outlier in general.
That last sentence is a bit egregious lol
Y'all are glossing over how any of those songs are connected with people recognizing his face in 2025 and it's weird as hellSo Wale didn't have that single with lady gaga that popped up off? Kai is the same age as my younger cousins and they all know who Wale is. I'm not saying they were bumping to his music but they recognize the name/artist. I don't believe Kai for a second
nikka in his mid 20s and was raised in atl and ny, this ain't surprising
This. I was in middle school when I 1st started following Hip-Hop & music in general back in the early 2000's. So if I met a washed rapper in my mid-20's who was poppin' & had numerous radio hits when i was in middle school, I would've defentiely recognized the Rapper.
MID 20S nikkaS
FROM ATL/NYC ARENT
SUPPOSED TO KNOW
RAPPERS FROM 10 YEARS AGO?
I'd argue Being in front a screen all day should make it easier to look shyt up.Is that surprising? Kid behind a keyboard all day & night
What reason would he have to look up Wale?I'd argue Being in front a screen all day should make it easier to look shyt up.
