KD's lack of a back to the basket game

When he gets settled in a half court defense, he is always looking for the ball and not always watching his guy. He gets beat off the dribble a lot and his lateral movements are horrendous. In his off-ball defense, he often loses his man, and blames it on Chalmers. He's a terrible on-ball defender. He only defends in spurts and takes 2/3rds of games off. He doesn't shut anyone down. He stops moving/guarding someone, watches his opponents shoot the ball in and then looks down at one of his teammates to wonder what they were doing. I can give Youtube links of this, if you like, because the film don't lie. He even blamed Chalmers when Paul George dunked on him in that game in Indy.

Lj defends in transition at times. He'll roam around and make plays when he's out of position (or gambling) and he makes the flashy plays that everyone loves (steals, blocks), but when he has to face his opponent straight up, he's terrible. His steals be off bad passes. You never see him press someone and take their dribble. What you do see, is him play the passing lanes.

He can't defend anyone w/ talent. 'Melo and Durant be lighting him up for 30pts (Durant), 38-40+ pts and game-winners ('Melo). Beckly Mason noted in the 2012 finals:

"The tape shows Durant is hardly struggling in one-on-one confrontations with James. In fact, James has not been able to stay in front of Durant off the dribble and Durant has also been able to shoot with relative ease because James tends to play one-on-one defense with his hands low. Durant has missed some open shots, but for the most part he's getting the same looks he did against Battier". This was when Serge Ibaka said:

"LeBron is not a good defender. He can play defense for two to three minutes but not 48 minutes. LeBron can't play (Durant) one-on-one. They're playing good defense like a team".

In this video, he claims that no one can guard KD but 'Melo sure did last season. KD shot poorly against 'Melo last season and the only reason he got 27 pts was from the free-throw line. Metta can guard him too. KD always tries to get the switch when Metta is guarding him. Lj is so weak and soft that he won't even take on the challenge of defending people with size, like 'Melo and West. He lets Battier do it, even though he's much younger and bigger (he got like 20-lbs on battier).

Film, stats, and objective people that are much older than me. Obviously not the media because if I did, I would respect the games of Lj, Shaq, D12, and anyone else who relies so heavily on their size and/or athleticism.

2,4,6 and 7 were good performances..

Game 2 = 17 pts on 41% shooting. Game 6 = 32 on 42% shooting and 6 turnovers. He had at least 5 bad games.

1) could you post the numbers to prove he stat padded in game 4 ? Because y'all throw up this talking point but never back it up. It seems like y'all are just discrediting a good all around game from him that his team won pretty handily.

2) He played his absolute BEST in the most important game of the season which was game 7.
He wasn't the superstar that missed an easy lay up that would have won the game/series now was he(yet some how we never here about that though)?

His numbers in that series and his finals MVP speak for themselves . Y'all Nikkas just goal post move and bytch all the time.

I actually watched the game, so it was easy to see he stat padded. Wade carried them that game. That was LeBron's only good game until the 4th quarter of Game 6.

Ray Allen's 3 was the most important shot in NBA history because of all the legacies it changed. If he missed that 3, LeBron never puts up one of the greatest Game 7's of all-time and it goes down as his third underwhelming Finals appearance in four tries.

Games 2,4, 6 and 7 were good or great games. Game 1 could have been legendary if he wasn't so passive.. That triple double in a win would've been
