It changes nothing. You are gonna have to find who likes you and deal with them. You have to realize that life is full of adversity and can be downright be brutal sometimes.
You will never be able to convince me that an individual that doesn’t appreciate the beauty in someone with the same skin colour as them is normal. Never.

Conversations on colorism always turn into a pointless race to the bottom between Black men and Black women. These types of conversation should focus more on the way the white power structure pushes for the standardization of white passing peoples on tv, movies, social media, politics, magazines, and other forms of media

You deal with colorism by confronting the white supremacist infrastructure behind it
I hate that colorism an issue that negatively affects both black women and men turned into stupid ass desirability politics.

Of course I have, what I'm suggesting is the vast majority of men will say they haven't practiced colorism when the vast majority of dark skin women would say they have experienced this. What I'm predicting an extreme incongruence that can't be explained away with "maybe 0% of the people responding have ever practiced colorism"
I disagree. The brothers who like lightskin women and practice colorism are not and never have been bashful about it. Many women I've seen rail against colorism have pointed this out before. But if we were going by this logic, and questioning the honesty of brothers who say they haven't practiced colorism, wouldn't it be equally fair to question the women who say they've experienced it?

OK you’re a beautiful dark skin woman. Some Negro you find handsome says “meh, dark skin on a women is not my thing”. What’s your next move other than shaming him to death?

Most of the guys who I have liked that liked me have been dark skinned. I typically have not been as attracted to men with light complexions. There are things that people are overlooking, which are features and hair texture in this conversation. If a woman with a caramel or other brown skin complexion has a looser hair texture and keen features, dark skinned men will typically still go for her. I have seen that a lot. You really can't single skin color out from the other variables.

No many people want to improve themselves. We all know the girl(s) Who will line up to have a baby by lightskinned skin guy. Specially if he has “good” hair or green eyes. You cannot just put this on Males.
