Because these conversations are used to present bullshyt a narrative that the average black man is a damn colorist. So yeah we pushing back.
These women hear what one or two colorist rappers, actor or athletes have to say and suddenly “all black men have a problem with colorism” or it’s “I’ve experienced colorism from multiple black men”
And you know what even if we say the average black man is a colorist, who programmed BM to be that way?. We know who and these complainers NEVER have any smoke for them
Then there are also more brown/dark skin black women than light skinned black women. Black People who actually come from black areas are going to grow up and be around more brown-dark skin women than light skinned women by default. So if black men revere light skin like they say then how did any of these brown or dark skin women even date or get into relationships?
Or are we gonna do the bullshyt Dark Skin girl Cinderella Colorist man fantasy where the colorist black man who is only interested in light skin just happens to find the dark skin woman attractive and just always happen to say “you look real pretty for a dark skin girl”
