Not to take anything from the late great Bean but, as a laker hater at that time. I will say it this team was pretty damn good. Sasha with his timely 3's and hustle, Bynum(when healthy) was hard to deal with on the block, Gasol was at his peak before he went soft, Odom was versatile as fukk, Jordan Farmar was another spark off the bench, etc. Like they weren't like GREAT but they were damn good. Obviously Kobe elevated them to champion status but they weren't just trash.

Why are you lying AGAIN? Those are Kobe's #'s against all East teams, not just Finals teams. If I had done playoff #'s the difference would have been even worse by a long shot considering how consistently poorly he played in the Finals. If you have to lie over and over again to support your man, maybe that means your man's argument isn't very good?

You're making zero sense. That was by far Mo's BEST year in the playoffs. He played 13 years in the league and never saw nearly as much success as he did with Bron in any other season, averaged 5.9ppg on 40.9% shooting in the rest of his postseason performances. So how the fukk can you claim that having Bron as a teammate hurt him?

I'm convinced you can't even comprehend bball outside of your standom.

OK SO ITS REGULAR SEASON, WHICH MEANS U HAVE MORE HOME GAMES VS WEST TEAMS… POINT STANDS

ONLY TIME PRIME MO WILLIAMS EVER PLAYED ON PLAYOFF TEAMS WAS IN CLEVELAND. STOP PLAYIN GAMES.

Pau was one of the best rim protectors in the league stupid. Dude was always among league leaders at allowing the lowest field goal percentage at the rim, even up to his days as a Chicago Bull.

laughably idiotic post. Kobe played with Shaq for 60% of his rings. He didn't get CP3 but he got Dwight a year after Dwight won DPOY and Nash a season after he put up 13 and 11. If that was Lebron ya'll would be crying about him forming a superteam.

Magic won all of his rings with either or both of Kareem and Worthy. Imagine Lebron playing damn near his entire career on a superteam :mjlol:Bron has spent 10 of his 18 postseasons in the NBA playing without an all-NBA caliber player while players like Magic, Kareem, Bird, Wilt, and Shaq won rings playing with some of the best players to ever play.. but ya'll juelz about superteams. shyt is hilarious. Apparently winning a championship with Kyrie Irving is a bridge too far but Kareem winning with Oscar or Magic is fine.

“PAU WAS ONE OF THE BEST DEFENDERS IN THE LEAGUE”

well 1. You skipped over the whole draft and build a team point which is obvious ... just as the thunder did
2. You missed the entire point of the beginning of the thread where Shaq was actually the bytch in the situation and admitted to it from his own mouth
3. You just called Dwight coming off surgery and 38 year old Steve Nash playing offball some sort of game changing thing
4. Lebron was trying to recruit Steve Nash to Miami even before this ... so what have you been really watching? Nash is my favorite player dog lol
LeBron James Is Recruiting Steve Nash To Join The Heat So They Can 'Help Each Other' Win Their First Ring
5. Magic played Center when Kareem went down and secured the ring as a Rookie ... I dunno how you pretend thats not impressive, thats more impressive than Kobe and Lebron

sure Kobe staying with Shaq would have watered the rings down... same as if Lebron played with Shaq and won
you trying to reverse acting like a bytch and project it on my post... I stated immediately that I fukking hated Kobe and Shaq ... and the Malone/Payton shyt was ultra corny
Lebron had more times to build a team and play with people who are known to win and be reliable and Kobe wasnt.... If you even watched NBA there was a time where cats didnt even wanna play with Kobe and Kobe didnt reach out to persuade them either.

10 out of 18 is moving goalposts too because you are going to deflect and pick and choose what constitutes an allstar... since you've already avoided injuries and age as a barometer for Dwight and Nash being on the Lakers

Every team KD played on was stacked, Lebron had some bad moments in Cleveland but carried those early teams.... Kobe had extreme highs and lows with his squads.
Teams Like the Bulls, Bucks, Spurs are mostly homegrown squads that were right under being completely stacked. Spurs are the best example, nobody is blaming an organization for developing 3 hall of fame players and building chemistry

thats alot different than begging for Lillard, Harden, Dwight, Nash, Cousins, AD, Karl Malone, Gary Payton, Wade, Kyrie, Melo, Westbrook, Kevin Love, Derozan and Lowry, Kawhi, PG, Cp3 to come play on your squad that's already got 2 of the top 10 players on it ... make that make sense.

nikkas stacked teams and still got blown out by the spurs running backdoor cuts in the lowest rated modern day finals
KD been on stacked squads and doesnt even make the finals ... make it make sense... how much more help do you need? At least Kobe just took his L and moved on with it

imagine asking for AD, Melo, Cp3, Patty Mills and Westbrook in the same year and its cool
but you transform into Kobe and you get Jeremey Lin, Carlos Boozer, Chris Kaman and Nick Young instead
shyt is nowhere near the same thing ... Lebron would ship Pau Gasol and Derrick Fisher straight the fukk out

but like I said both dudes are way different... you dont build a team around them the same way... Lebron would actually fit way better with Shaq because size obviously but he would get Shaq the touches he wanted. Lebron is more like Magic to where Kobe is more like Jordan

you tried to use Nash at 38 with a broken back playing off ball as some kind of determining factor of elite shyt :russ:

kobe is way better than lebron

thats why lebron is chasing kobe and not the other way around
if he wanted to come to LA he could have, instead of Miami

same with Kobe chasing Jordan
you cant chase someone till this day and pretend you're better when you're still chasing them
with handmade squads and the league also bending over backwards for you

league treated Kobe like shyt, and 70% of his career I loved it because I was a Blazers then Suns fan
Lebron did do amazing things but he definitely folded super early and is still doing thats arms race shyt with KD

nikkas pretend like Magic Johnson didnt exist, there's so many more people who had epic careers not flipflopping and crushed shyt since the beginning as well ... on way lower minutes

the team you're on dictates everything: example Nique, Karl Malone, Mcgrady Joe Johnson

Imagine Nique on Boston, Malone on Bulls, Mcgrady on Lakers and Joe Johnson on Orlando with Dwight

or using Kobe example... Imagine Chris Paul actually already being on the Lakers
being able to dictate who you play with and where you play is 80% of the battle
or else you end up with a career like Dominique Wilkins who is amazing and nobody talks about

Lebron and Kobe arent the same type of player ... they compliment eachother more than rival

That’s what makes me mad. Kobe could’ve easily eclipsed Jordan if he took LeBron’s path. That would be like 2004 Kobe playing with Wade/Bosh, then 2008 Kobe playing with Kyrie/Love, then 2013 Kobe (wouldn’t have gotten injured) playing with Anthony Davis. Mind you Kobe already won 3 rings before 2003. So if he got to play with all that talent in the years afterward, we’re talking a ton of rings. Kobe was trying to beat Jordan at the same game whereas Bron decided to arms race. The league enabled this stuff in a lot of ways because Bron winning rings equals more viewership but it’s very telling that they allowed this man to play with half of the NBA meanwhile Kobe couldn’t even get Chris Paul. If everyone took Bron’s path, there’s a ALOT of players who would’ve had different careers. Barkley, Ewing, Nique, Malone. All those cats could’ve did that.
