I used the suggestions/criteria set forth by the dude in OP. Take your definition up with him. He's the dating expert.
Dude is fine in the head. I never said he was lonely or waiting on me. He gets his. I have met a few chicks I think are giving up the draws. I told a story last week about how one was texting me from his phone pretending was wanted to hang out with me but really was trying to make me jealous.
I just ain't feeling his style. Now why he continues to take me out...
He goes out like 3 times a week. I assume he just wants the company and/or he figures he's invested this much; might was well wait it out.

So I went on my date last night. It was this dude who I have been going on dates with for like 4 years. We've never touched, kissed or held hands.But I did it and it was honestly painless. He was like "

Thank you!!" He had invited me on groups trips before but after that it turn into. "I want to take you on a trip; just me and you" and "I will pay for your ticket." He then devised this scheme where he would pay for a ticket for me to travel home and change his flight plans so he would have a layover and spend one day with me.
I declined. I can't say if serving him first really made him do all that but it's the first time he hasn't "played it cool." So it might have.
So far I am loving the results. I need a real date with someone I've never been out with before. I'll work on it this week. The saga continues...

I think this is a very interesting experiment. I think too many women want to be in control of everything so they aren't disappointed. Give a man a chance to show you what he is about...he could surprise you or confirm what you already think about him. Either way you will know whether to roll with him or roll away.
