didn't Sanders only start playing in HS his Sophomore or Junior Year anyway?
edit: Sanders was not playing basketball in the ninth grade; the private school he attended did not offer sports. Standing 6'1" when he transferred to Port St. Lucie High School, Kareem Rodriguez, the school's basketball coach, spotted Sanders and saw his potential ability, talking him into playing.

being a pro athlete is a hard lifestyle, you barely got any time and barely see your family

also the wear and tear on your body is going to plague when you are in your 40's and 50's

I see how somebody would be miserable if they did not like basketball

you have to understand this NBA players love that shyt, imagine not liking basketball and you have to practice, train, basically play basketball year round, it could make you miserable

that nikka is getting paid more then every coli member put together to quit basketball and not be a slave for money and enjoy his life the way he wants to with the people he loves and y'all make it out to be a bad thing :what:

Exactly...If he doesn't have a love for the work he does why does he have to do it...Just because others are envious....That's what it comes down to others saying they value money more than their own happiness...

The day I feel the love for what I do is gone it's time for me to hang it up or look for something else.

I think I'm more so ragging on Larry Sanders because he basically faked the funk until he got a big contract then didn't want to play anymore..Yet he still was gifted a buyout for half of the contract.

It was a snake move on his part for cheating his employer. The Bucks should absolutely sue. They also should have voided his contract to be honest :yeshrug:

I understand happiness is more important BUT he just signed this contract and basically robbed another man.

Fulfill your commitment like a man, nicca. :pacspit: You're getting paid millions for it.

This is real

Just from the video you can tell he's the artsy type.....He was basically convinced to live a life he didn't want based on his size and talent and I respect him for having the heart to leave it all behind.

There would be days I would wake up and look at the clock and would be :to::to: this isnt worth it. It got to the point where I said screw this and bounced. The money and perks were nice :why: but :camby:........so I understand

Cac alert! :camby:

The Bucks come out of the situation fine. He will count against their cap only for a fraction of the 11mil/yr that he was supposed to get over the next 3 years. Low key it's probably a good thing for the Bucks because Larry played like a man who didn't like basketball when he was out there and that contract was quickly becoming an albatross. fukk would they sue him and he just did them a favor? :dahell:
