Not a good look no matter how ya slice it, but for the record that's photoshopped the real one isn't as bad

LeBron-James-Flo-Halloween.jpg

But then when ya figure this was definitely a 7 figure endorsement to put on a wig and an apron for a couple hours, not as bad a look as it originally seemed. Right now when I'm on literally no sleep about to get ready for work I'd love to put on a fukking wig and an apron for a couple hours and be set for life.

Maaan, nikkas is stupid. There's nothing wrong with this, I'll bet nobody would talk shyt to Larry Johnson's face when he was putting on a wig and playing Grandmama. People hate on LeBron for all the wrong reasons.

But this ain't what I'm talbout.

When I say he's made mistakes socially, what I'm saying is that he does things that do not necessarily lend themselves towards endearing him to the court of public opinion. That is a fact. People love LeBron, but it's almost an equal number of people who hate him for whatever reason, a lot of which are usually ridiculous. Whether or not you agree that the things he does should be upsetting people does not change the fact that things he's done has changed the way people look at him in the court of public opinion. Technically, there was nothing wrong with The Decision, for example, but the way it was handled was extremely awkward....and it seems like LeBron always seems to handle everything awkward socially.

That was my point. Some cats in here are so busy trying to defend him on all fronts that they're not realizing that sometimes pointing something out is not necessarily a criticism or hating as much as it is just an observation.

You try being raised by a single mother in poverty. Attention whoring would be the least of your problems.

:stopitslime: :camby:

I'm from Philly, nikka....and not only grew up personally with people who were raised by single mothers in poverty and were never attention whores and in fact became respected academics, but I helped mentor the same type of young people when I was in 100 Black Men in Philly.

Get that enabling ass sensibility outta here, not having it.

Magic when to 9 finals in 13 years...

I think its interesting that you mention that.

I think when it is all said and done, Lebron going to the Finals so far 4 straight times (probably 5 or even more in the future) is something that will be far more appreciated after his career is over.

But in the present, you have people like :skip: basically are bashing him for making it to the Finals. They would almost rather him get eliminated early than have a bad win:loss record for the finals :snoop:

I always thought that Malone did it for like 15 straight seasons or something like that. His durability (and luck) is ridiculous. That along with his scoring ability is sorely underrated. It will be interesting to see how long he goes with this and to see if anyone will be able to break it once he's done. Only guy that I can think of with a legit chance is KD.

more regular season "records"

the peyton manning of the nba

Actually no. Peyton absolutely sucks in the playoffs and has countless eggs. From putting up trash stats in the first round to getting blown out by almost 4 points in the first round.

Not to mention countless first round loses.

Peyton and Lebron should never ever be compared when it comes to their careers from an achievement stand point. Especially when you consider all the horrible games Peyton has had in the playoffs.

Did his record translate to more finals wins, or losses?:francis: All that scoring seems to be the mark of a selfish player whose only goal is to get stats. :jbhmm:

Yep. What throws a monkey wrench in all of this is how Lebron as set himself up for after basketball with all his venture deals.

Dude might make it to 35 and say to hell with it I quit. He won't have to play as long as many other greats like Kareem cause he will have so much income coming in after basketball.

The agency and production companies are really big businesses that can bring in large sources of income.

It's ironic but it's the people who hate LeBron, not LeBron "stans" that won't be watching basketball after he retires, as much as they don't want to admit it. Because despite y'all counting on him failing every step of the way once he's finally gone you're gonna realize you completely took him for granted and have absolutely nothing to do with your sorry lives anymore. :manny:

There are a lot of great players in this league but it'l be a while till we see anything close to LeBron, not just in terms of dominance but also in terms of pop-culture relevance. The league will undoubtedly suffer for a whle in his absence. Curry is at his peak right now and still doesn't sniff any of the TV numbers or social media presence Bron garnered from his Heat tenure. These other nikkas just don't have that "it", no matter what you delusion yourself into thinking on these forums. People lie, numbers don't, and numbers have been down across the board during Curry's "reign."

So using this logic Malone, Dirk, Oscar Robertson, Jerry West and Wilt were all selfish.

But, but, but.........LeBron is falling off! :lolbron:
His fall off will be steeper than Kobe's cuz he's not as skilled :ehh:

Once he can't crab dribble and bulldoze his way to the hole anymore it's a wrap. Father time comes for everybody and his game won't age well :manny:
