It's ironic but it's the people who hate LeBron, not LeBron "stans" that won't be watching basketball after he retires, as much as they don't want to admit it. Because despite y'all counting on him failing every step of the way once he's finally gone you're gonna realize you completely took him for granted and have absolutely nothing to do with your sorry lives anymore.

There are a lot of great players in this league but it'l be a while till we see anything close to LeBron, not just in terms of dominance but also in terms of pop-culture relevance. The league will undoubtedly suffer for a whle in his absence. Curry is at his peak right now and still doesn't sniff any of the TV numbers or social media presence Bron garnered from his Heat tenure. These other nikkas just don't have that "it", no matter what you delusion yourself into thinking on these forums. People lie, numbers don't, and numbers have been down across the board during Curry's "reign."

When I say he's made mistakes socially, what I'm saying is that he does things that do not necessarily lend themselves towards endearing him to the court of public opinion. That is a fact. People love LeBron, but it's almost an equal number of people who hate him for whatever reason, a lot of which are usually ridiculous. Whether or not you agree that the things he does should be upsetting people does not change the fact that things he's done has changed the way people look at him in the court of public opinion. Technically, there was nothing wrong with The Decision, for example, but the way it was handled was extremely awkward....and it seems like LeBron always seems to handle everything awkward socially.

That was my point. Some cats in here are so busy trying to defend him on all fronts that they're not realizing that sometimes pointing something out is not necessarily a criticism or hating as much as it is just an observation.

Finals "loser" even though 90+% of the guys in this HOF don't have a single ring to their name, let alone 2, with 2 FMVPS (the same as darling Kobe and 2x more than Steph), and 4 RSMVPs. Probably gonna be the only player to retire with 25k+ points, 10k+ assists, 10k+ rebounds. Not only was Jordan hurt in 85/86 (his second year) he also only averaged 22.7 PPG which would have excluded him regardless of how many games were/weren't played regular season. Furthermore in 85/86 Jordan only played 18 games & 17 games when he retired briefly in 94/95 so he's further eliminated because MJ missed 2 years playing at least half or a majority of the regular season (41 games or more) during his 12 years while LeBron didn't!

Yep. What throws a monkey wrench in all of this is how Lebron as set himself up for after basketball with all his venture deals.

Dude might make it to 35 and say to hell with it I quit. He won't have to play as long as many other greats like Kareem cause he will have so much income coming in after basketball.

The agency and production companies are really big businesses that can bring in large sources of income.

The thing is, he has already played as long as many other greats. He's played 13 seasons. Wilt, Russell, Big O, Bird, Magic, Jordan, all played between 12 and 15 years. That's why it's funny when people still try to throw the longevity card out there like the nikka hasn't already played a full career. The way he takes care of his body and has pushed for more rest to be built into the schedule, it seems like he is in it for the long haul. That said, 17 years is pretty long, especially if he is able to remain healthy and still play at a high level at that point.

Is that really possible? What good are all of Kobe's skills doing him now that he can't blow by nikkas and raise up over them to shoot or dunk at will?

13 seasons in and people still hanging onto this? The guy is gonna be 18 years in, closing in on Kareem, still averaging 20+ on all post ups (because he's always gonna be 6'8, 260) and guys are still gonna be waiting for this epic fall off .
