What is the most reasonable explanation for why Jesus' tomb was empty given the evidence contained in historical documents?

Smileys are not arguments.
they made it all up and then it was repeatedly plagiarized and repeated until folks like you come along to swallow it up?
:manny:

that it's all made up is just as plausible as king James rewriting parts in and reediting parts out of the bible or as plausible of any document you have found. their authenticity in questionable and their bias is wholly plausible
the same thing can be said for the best explanation for why Jesus keeps showing up on toast
or stone statues of the virgin Mary has cried blood
the latter two would be taken by the majority as believable lore today, were we not living in this current age of science

and that is where we find ourselves with charlatans trying to give the air of scientific inquiry to the history of their religion when repeatedly they have been caught making shyt up but yet they will ask us to believe the irrelevant and yet so impossible miracle, just this ONE MORE TIME.

False. There is no precedent in Greco-Roman/Pagan, Jewish, Egyptian or ANY Ancient Near Eastern literature for a resurrection.

Please provide evidence for your claim of plagiarism.
