Why are Pac fans so insecure about Biggie's legacy and success? It's like they can't handle the fact Big is still loved and revered till this day. LOL @ Bringing up "All Eyes on Me" Sales. 1st that album came out in the thick of Pac's controversy. The Rape Case, The Shooting, The Jail Time, Suge Knight, Biggie Bad Boy Beef. He had a lot of press attention at that point. If you look at Pac's 1st 2 releases as you said. "Ready To Die" outsold them. Shoot you can throw in "Thug Life" and Pac still didn't have the numbers.

"Ready To Die" did 2.5 Million albums while Biggie was alive and is very close to 5 Million today. This was his debut album. "AEOM" was Pac's 4th album. Also "Big Poppa" and "One More Chance" were Bigger hits than any Tupac Song at that time before "California Love" dropped which featured one of the biggest producers in Hip Hop with Dr. Dre (Someone Pac would later diss even though he gave him his biggest hit of his career). Biggie had more success on the charts after his debut and more success with his singles period. "AEOM" and "Makaveli" were the ending for Pac. And guess what. "Life After Death" sold just as well. So if you look at it, Biggie was pacing to sell more records than Pac over the long run. Also "Born Again" and "Duets" two cut and paste albums sold over 5 Million albums worldwide combined. Biggie's got 25 Million Sold Worldwide off 4 LP's. Tupac has 75 Million sold off over 10 LP's. Do the math, Biggie is already one of the biggest sellers in Hip Hop History.

thats a question that seems to go unanswered and ignored. its not even just biggie they are insecure about its nas as well.

I don't care what anyone says. You can't count a double album as a single sale because back then them shyts cost $34.95. The only thing the record company cares about is revenue. 5 people buying an item at $35 is better than 8 people buying an item at $16

Exactly, Dudes kill me with this whole Double album thing like somehow Biggie and Pac numbers are cheating. LAD, AEOM and Greatest Hits cost well over 25 Dollar retail. That's damn near double price. Yet they should get the same credit as someone selling a single album even though they are giving you more songs and time and it cost more? SMH.

Disc 1 - 5 Million
Disc 2 - 5 Million

A Double LP is a package LP there for 10 Million disc were sold. It is much more harder to sell a double LP than a single LP. I don't think people understand Pac and Biggie's Double LP's generated over 100 Million dollars for their record labels.

Well then you got a deal because those double albums cost me $35 breh :pachaha:

Either way, they were a lot more expensive and they were heavily traded and bootlegged. I know I wasn't the only one who was like "let me borrow Enter the 36 chambers and I'll let you borrow Spice 1 "

No one is gonna deny east coast classics back in the 90s, but the west got them in popularity in lifestyle and in album sales. People love the Cali beaches, weed, and the women.

Ready to Die sold more records than pacs 1st 3 albums combined. It took getting locked up,signing with bad boys rival label in the midst of a media driven east vs west coast beef for tutu to go plat that quick and one album sale was counted as 2 so he really sold 2.5 albums

And both bigs albums>>>>>>>>>>>>>>pacs discography

MATW can go track for track, 7DT is better easily, much more potent and concise, no filler.
:comeon:

7Day Theory is not easily better, MATW isn't better or "equal" either. Ready to Die's production is amazing, Easy Mo Bee laced that shyt. The only filler track is Respect where Biggie was paying respects to his Jamaican roots.

Ready to Die intro, Gimme The Loot, Machine Gun Funk, Suicidal Thoughts, Juicy, Unbelievable, Me & My B*tch, Ready to Die, Everyday Struggle, Things Done Changed are all great tracks and the skits are gold.

Ready to Die was more well received by critics than any Pac album. It's a sonic masterpiece and one of the best albums ever :wtf:
